1/11 - Present XEROX - CONTROLLER/SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST
I work in the International accounting department, and oversee four
divisional regions. I work closely with Sr. Management and provide
monthly/quarterly/annual divisional budgets and results. I analyze and
prepare monthly financial statements. I provide variance analysis on a
divisional basis. I analyze trends in the divisional businesses and help
identify the cause of variances.
. I manage the forecasting process for Puerto Rico, Fiji, Ghana and
Barbados, including variance analysis and forecast revisions on a
monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
. I analyze trends and anticipate divisional performance, and make
recommendations to Sr. management to improve unfavorable trends. I
help identify the cause of the variance.
. In conjunction with budget preparation and revisions, I evaluate the
divisional performance and provide alternative scenarios as to the
impact of the possible future financial performance of the division.
. I prepare and review monthly reconciliations and profitability

of such.

Robison Hill & Company is a CPA firm that specializes in audit and tax
services for both public and privately held companies, as well as
individuals.
. I worked as a staff accountant in providing tax and general financial
services to clients. Such services included tax preparation, tax
planning and auditing.
. I worked closely with one of the partners as the "accountants to the
Trustee" on bankruptcy cases. We assisted the Trustee in analyzing
the assets and liabilities of the bankrupt company in determining what
if any money is available to settle the liabilities. Frequently
recreated accounting records and bank reconciliations in tracing
funds.
3/08 - 2/10 QUALITY TIRE COMPANY - CONTROLLER
Controller of a privately held company, with five locations in the
intermountain west. Quality Tire Company sells new and recapped tires to
retail and wholesale customers as well as general auto repairs.
. I worked closely with store managers to help anticipate their needs
and looked for processes and procedures to improve efficiency and the
bottom line. While the economy had taken a down turn and revenue had
fallen nearly 40%, working with management I helped reduce costs and
improved efficiency, helping to maintain a substantial amount of net
profit. I would work closely with the President and Vice President
in discussing/reporting trends and variance analysis on a weekly and
monthly basis.
. By doing trend analysis along with cost/pricing analysis, I worked
with our Recap production manager to improve efficiency in production,
reduction in costs, and increase other revenue generating activities.
This led to a one year positive swing of $350,000 profit.
. I managed cash flow to help the company avoid using a line of credit,
which the company had been unable to do in five years, thus saving the
company $30,000 in interest expense. I provided upper management with
financial analysis' that helped them make a decision to close the
Idaho store saving approximately $100,000.
11/05 - 3/08 EARTH MOVERS - CONTROLLER
Controller of a privately held $22 million company with locations in Salt
Lake City, Utah and Phoenix, Arizona. Earth Movers was an excavation
company. We contracted work for Layton Construction, BIG-D Construction,
SIRQ, Garbett Homes, Fieldstone Homes, and others.
. As Controller I oversaw and managed all accounting functions.
. I analyzed the job costing and variance to budgets, and helped the
Project Managers become more efficient in tracking their costs on a
daily and weekly basis, so there wasn't a financial surprise when the
job was complete.
. I managed the accounting department. Responsibilities ranged from
month end closings and financial statement preparations, to forecast &
budget analysis and reporting.
. By working closely with vendors and debtors through cash flow issues I
gained a significant amount of knowledge.
. Conducted weekly meetings with Sr. Management to discuss trends and
variance analysis.
. I managed the forecasting process for the company, including variance
analysis and forecast changes from period to period.
