PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

From August,2000 to Nov,2001

Worked at Yash Papers Ltd, Faizabad (U P) as a Astt. Paper Technologist in

paper machine process. This plant is producing light weight kraft paper,

gsm range of 28-80 with two Yankee machines. I was responsible for

production and quality for two paper machines.

. Worked as a team leader in PM2 modification project like wire table

change, press rebuild and successfully started production of 28 GSM

paper.

From Dec,2001 to May,2004

Worked at Balkrishna Industries Ltd, Unit-Balkrishna Paper Mill, Kalyan

(Maharashtra) as a Shift production Executive in paper machine process.

This plant is producing 180 TPD of duplex board and a gsm range of 260-500

using recycled fiber. The machine has 8 Voith float lip former, 3-tier

dryers and three on-machine coating stations. Plant is equipped with fully

automation system, DCS etc. I was responsible for shift production and

quality.

. Worked as a team member in machine speedup project like addition of

three tier dryers, addition of one extra mould former, suction return

drum and coater drying hood change.

. Developed new grades like white back, Grey back paper boards.

From May,2004 to till date

Presently working as a Deputy Manager (Production) at BILT Graphic paper

products Ltd, Unit- Sewa, a subsidiaries of Ballarpur Industries Ltd

(BILT). The Ballarpur Group is the largest manufacturer of writing and

printing paper in India. At unit Sewa we have two paper machines, producing

Copier and Maplitho grades of paper, a GSM range from 52 to 90. Machines

have modern equipments like top wire former, Turbair vacuum system, Size

press, BTG Roll Coater, Optigloss soft nip calendar and automations like

DCS and QCS.

PRESENT JOB RESPONSIBILITY

. Production Incharge of Paper Machine 1 & 2

. Monitoring and control of process parameters

. Production planning and execution, clothing change, roll change

planning

. To ensure quality products

. Optimization and controlling of fiber and chemicals

. Monitoring inventory of machine clothing and process consumables

. Conceptualize, Initiate & Conduct trials for product improvement.

. Process improvement and development works

. Trouble shooting and Breakdown analysis

. Weekly and monthly production report preparation and analysis

. TQM, TPM, ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS and 5S implementation

. Controlling of utilities consumption and finishing losses.

ACHIEVEMENTS AT BILT

. Worked as a project coordinator of 150 MT paper machine i.e PM2 and

plays a key roll in commissioning of the same

. Involved in PM1 speed up from 440 to 480 mpm.

. Involved in pigmentised and Chromo paper run at PM2

. Shifted to Alkaline sizing i.e. ASA sizing at both machines

. Use of Precipitated CaCO3 started at both machines

. Copier paper production started at PM2 and New copier grades developed

at PM1

. Undergone TQM, TPM, ISO9001, 14001, OHSAS and 5S training

. Commissioned new equipments like centricleaners, pressure screen, UTM

at size press, Tri-Zone pickup roll, Steam & condensate system, Disc

filter, Broke cleaning system, TDR, Vacuum pumps and DDR tackle SEL

optimization.

. Awarded for Significantly Exceeding Expectations in year 2009, 2011

and 2013 at BILT
