Objective

To obtain a summer job that will provide me experience in my field of study.

Summary

Currently enrolled in Laurentian’s Biochemistry Major, in hopes to get a Bachelor of Science. I have

experienced lab skills through my two years of study at Laurentian. I have an understanding of chemical

and biological reactions and their effects. I enjoy working in the chemistry labs and gaining better

knowledge of how reactions occur.

My Education

Completed grades 9, 10 11 and 12 at Saint Thomas Aquinas Secondary school in Tottenham, Ontario,

Canada, and will be entering my fourth year of biochemistry at Laurentian University in Ontario Canada.

Experience

I have 3 years of lab experience through my study of chemistry and biology. In my educations I have

participated in Chemistry labs, Biochemistry labs, Qualitative Analysis labs, Physical Chemistry labs, and

Organic Chemistry labs including Spectroscopy experiments. Through these opportunities I have

developed precision in measuring and observing chemical reactions, as well as using multiple types of

equipment including eppindorf pipettes, micropipettes, NMR and IR spectroscopy, centrifugation and

many titration experiments. I have experienced the fast pace of the fast food environment which helped

me gain an ability to work under pressure and follow instructions with efficiency. My knowledge of

scientific methods and reactions allow me to understand the purpose and procedure that accompany

experiments and testing. My family’s recent relocation has enabled me to have the ability to adapt

efficiently to new environments and situations.

Special Circumstance

I am a Canadian citizen in the process of acquiring a green card, currently living in Alabama on a L1A

visa. My family moved to Alabama 3 years ago when my mother was transferred to Honda Manufacturing

of Alabama from Honda Manufacturing Canada.
