Manufacturing Engineer at John Deere, Davenport, IA (Sep2011-Current)

• Kitting to create floor space and an efficient workstation resulting in increase in throughput

• Validating cycle times at each station for better line balancing and for better response to

process variability

• Working with process engineers to develop efficient and safe work standards for the operators

• Continuous process improvements at each station to reduce setup times, ergonomic issues

and defects utilizing lean tools like DMAIC, 5S, Value stream mapping and kaizen events
