. PMO Charter - Created the organizational mandate for the PMO to exist
by defining the PMO's mission, primary functions, organizational
structure, sponsors and stake holders to successfully build the PMO.
. Performance Reporting - enhanced performance reporting using Primavera
(P6), Primavera Contract Manager, SAP, @ Risk, and Primavera Risk
Manager.
. Risk Management - Implemented a risk management program for all
projects requiring Board Authorization. Approximately 200 qualitative
and quantitative risk assessments completed to date.
. Baseline Policy - created and implemented a Baseline Policy to control
scope, schedule and costs for all active projects within the Capital
Plan.
. Project Management Training - Instituted training and mentoring for
project managers and mandated a PMI certification requirement.
Currently over 80% of the Agency PMPs are PMP certified through this
program.
. Lunch-n-Learn Series - created continuous learning sessions for PMPs
to earn PDU credits during the year on critical project management
topics.
. Project Control Services - enhanced project controls using state-of-
the art software to provide Project Control Teams within the PMO to
support Project Managers in budgeting, scheduling, tracking &
reporting using Primavera (P6), Primavera Contract Manager, SAP, @
Risk, and Primavera Risk Manager.
. Team Building Workshops - initiated and coordinated a series of
project management team building workshops to build relationships with
Line Department Project Managers and Engineering Department Managers.
As a result, both Departments have begun to work together more
efficiently.
. Cost Loaded Schedules Project - developing industry best practices
for integrated cost, schedule and scope controls within the Agency's
portfolio. 75% Complete.
. FTE Analysis Tool - implemented an FTE tool used by Line Departments
to estimate project management resources with the Capital Plan for a
given year.
. Project Management Executive Dashboard - issued monthly as a
communication tool to various stakeholders within the Agency to
increase transparency and visibility. Model adapted for Line
Department dashboards to the Executive Director.

engineering and project management services, with a focus on the
transportation, technology, communication, and construction industries.
Effectively managed all aspects of contract procurement and administration,

team building effort, recruiting, hiring, and training a staff of 14 cross-
disciplinary professionals while implementing performance metrics and

responsibility for $400M in NYC Transit technology projects. Directed all
