• Coordination of customer satisfaction survey for the Operations Team. Development of cloud
database of customer data to manage the surveys; Duties include reconciling all input data,
parsing out customer complaints and analytics of customer satisfaction statistics. Implemented a
new survey methodology tool by working with our ERP client to increase number and validity of
response rates
• Managed the consolidation and relocation of two offices remotely using MS Project and Google
Apps, including build schedule, moving logistics, and obtaining insurance for the physical move
• Project management of all Muzak leased real estate. Including the consolidation of satellite
offices, development of two new building sites in Austin, and the reduction of size of the Charlotte
a rea office.
• Process improvement project for contractor licenses across Muzak. I used DMAIC to map the
p rocess for obtaining contractor licenses and reduced the time and amount errors resulting in a
savings of $5,000 man hours
• Manage the Technician Reward Program, including developing a cloud database reporting tool for
15 local operations managers to input rewards and incentives for 150 technicians and a reporting
p rocess for streamlined and efficient entering and editing of data
• Create weekly and monthly operational reports from four internal operational departments
requiring internal communications with all departments and data manipulation from our ERP
System and Data Warehouse
• Support strategic events, customer events and internal meetings, including t ravel logistics and
a rranging for and setting up technology and conference calls

• Event coordination for the Global Partnership Network annual conference held in Blacksburg July
2011. Duties included planning for lodging, meals, t ransportation, as well as meeting spaces and
organizing the individual meeting sessions.
• Coordination and facilitation of the Virginia Tech International Faculty Development Program.
T he IFDP duties included working with nominated faculty members from each college, organizing
meetings and t ravel arrangements, linking IFDP group members with academics from partner
u niversities in Chile to develop new institutional and faculty level relationships and exchanges.
• Management of faculty strategic international area research groups. Facilitating meetings for
faculty to share information about research projects and interests across university colleges,
encourage collaboration and information sharing among faculty members
• Management of the Windsor Group, researching and facilitating groups for African Higher
education, including information on faculty development programs in energy, education, design,
and public health.
• Development of an undergraduate certificate in Global Citizenry, duties including research of
peer universities current international offerings, Virginia Tech’s current international classes and
opportunities, white paper demonstrating need for an undergraduate Global Citizenry
designation, and facilitation of faculty commit tees across the institution to develop and
i mplement program.
• Creation of a white paper and presentation paper for the Windsor Group, African Tertiary
Education as a means for Economic Development. Duties included research of land-grant
u niversity collaborative research in Africa, inventory of research projects, literature review of
A frican tertiary higher education, analysis of data and showing the need for African tertiary
education as a means of development.
• Project management of a university wide database system, VTNavigate, which houses information
pertaining to international faculty engagement, institution MOUs, education aboard
opportunities, student organizations, and alumni of distinction. Duties included the design of the
map and webpage, development of the databases, coordination with the international managers of
each college, and recruiting international alumni to join the database.

• Researched existing t ransportation policies on Virginia Rail Policy and coordination of the
V irginia Rail Policy Group, including scheduling meetings and maintaining a public website for
i nformation sharing.

• Development and writing grant proposals including a project for the Virginia Department of Rail
and Public Transit mapping greenways in South West Virginia.
• Creation and analysis of GIS maps of transportation routes and census data to determine bus
route suitability for lower-income areas and concentrations of older populations
• Qualitative research for the Virginia Public Mobility Project, a grant from the local government to
d iscover the public t ransportation opportunities in the New River Valley. Including identification
of public, private, and non-profit transportation providers, survey of services, and GIS mapping of
routes available. Data was analyzed and presented to the local government with gaps in service
i dentified and suggestions for better transportation coordination of the area.
• Event planning for the Public Mobility Transportation Conference in Roanoke, Va. Creation of
marketing collateral, coordination of logistics, and onsite management of the event.
