• Project Manager Oversee the construction, commissioning, and start-up operation of a torrefaction
demonstration unit.

• Crude Unit /Re-Run Stills Propane Deresiner Unit Manager, 05/11 to 10/12 Oversee daily operations of
unit, direct supervision of unionized unit employees including scheduling, training and safety adherence, manage
costs to reach budget goals, solicit outside maintenance price quotes and negotiate terms/conditions, serve as
IWI Assistant Fire Marshall, coordinate with Production Planning to meet customer requirements. Identified and
resolved root causes for rate limits and increased unit production by 20%, decreased Deresiner operating
expenses by $80,000/year by evaluating and changing operating procedures.
• Boiler House/Waste Water Treatment Manager, 5/10 to 5/11 Oversee daily operations of unit, direct
supervision of unionized unit employees including scheduling, training and safety adherence, serve as IWI
Assistant Fire Marshall. Reduced steam costs through equipment updates and careful monitoring of fuel input
versus steam output, waste water had zero environmental excursions .
• Maintenance Manager, 12/09 to 05/10 Supervise and coordinate unionized maintenance personnel including
scheduling, training, adherence to safety procedures, prioritize work orders to minimize lost production, solicit
outside maintenance price quotes and negotiate terms/conditions and assure bids are complete and accurate,
order and receive materials for projects, oversee maintenance projects and assure deadlines are met, monthly
project status reports. Used preventive maintenance to predict equipment failures.
• Projects Manager, 01/08 to 12/09 New position created to coordinate all aspects of capital projects, work in
conjunction with engineering department, participate in the design of new equipment, solicit outside price quotes
and negotiate terms/conditions, hire and schedule outside contractors for all capital projects, work closely with in-
house maintenance and production units to schedule jobs. Installed 75,000 pph boiler and 1,000 hp Nh3
compressor.
• MEK Plant/Solvent Deoiler and Propane Deresiner Unit Manager, 01/06 to 01/08 Oversee daily
operations of unit, direct supervision of unionized unit employees including scheduling, training and safety
adherence, coordinate with maintenance to schedule repairs/improvements, manage chemical inventories, serve
as IWI Assistant Fire Marshall, and work in conjunction with Production Planning to meet customer requirements.
Decreased lost production time through usage of lean manufacturing, served on IWI Hiring and Union
Negotiations Committee.
