PROFFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
ARC MACHINES, INC-Pacoima, CA November 2008 -
August 2012
?Arc Machines, Inc, is a manufacturer that specializes in orbital welding
equipment and the associated consumables. My employment at AMI began
November 2008 as a Product Manager charged with incorporating a recent
acquisition, Exel Orbital Products, into the AMI tube product line.
Promoted to Product Manager for all AMI tube products in October 2009,
which was followed by a second promotion in December 2010 to Director of
Product Management for tube products. A transfer to Western Regional
Manager followed in late 2011.
?The transition to the Western Regional Manager was a strategy to take
advantage of my key industry contacts, technical aptitude, and sales
management acumen to drive business development in AMI's largest
geographic territory. These interactions helped re-energize and motivate
the sales representatives in the Western Region and corporate office,
ultimately leading to significant sales increases in our prime markets,
Aerospace, Semiconductor, and Pharmaceutical. In addition, we were able to
maximize finished product, rental, and consumable sales with our long-term
clients in the process piping and mechanical contracting industries who
were servicing the massive Intel projects in Portland, OR, and Phoenix,
AZ. This became the largest and most profitable AMI tube product market.
?Responsibilities -Territory Management...Sales Management, Training,
Coaching, Sales Funnel, Forecasting, Quoting, Reporting, Indentify new
sales opportunities, Research/qualify and sign new sales representatives,
Develop new sales channel strategies and relationships for specific
product lines.
?As Director of Product Management/Product Manager I lead a team in
successful product launches and improvements of important and innovative
new products, including both power supplies and weld heads. Integration
of these new products, along with Exel Orbital Products, helped create a
more competitive/complete tube product line and resulted in flagship
finished product and ensuing consumable sales to Boeing and Spacex.
?Responsibilities - Product launch and strategy...project management, P&L,
Inside Sales Management (including both finished products, consumables,
and rentals), budgeting, tollgate process, marketing materials, training
materials, trade shows, product positioning, product improvement,

and Energy Companies, in an effort to have Capstone microturbines written
into various project specifications. The two primary renewable fuel
applications were capturing methane gas from wastewater treatment plants
