Chief Financial Officer, Futron Corporation, Bethesda, MD 2004 - Present
Joined this internationally recognized aerospace engineering consulting firm initially as
Director of Finance and Operations and appointed as CFO in 2007. Manage corporate
infrastructure functional departments including; accounting, contract administration
(including proposals), and operations including communications, and IT. Also serve on
the senior executive management team for all corporate strategy and operational
decision-making including the annual budget development, operating plan and
performance management balanced score card (“BSC”).
Contributor to new business development including; design and implementation of a
comprehensive government and commercial proposal (cost and technical) process and
procedure, instrumental in establishment of a customer past performance database
process and procedure, serve as management lead for team activities such as; corporate
website and company industry trade show exhibit upgrades, and the firm’s 20th

(ADP) payroll, and the annual tech refresh and the corporate technology roadmap.
Lead responsibility for external audits including; annual financial, retirement plan, and
workers compensation audits, all DCAA audit activities including ICS and provisional
and final indirect rate negotiations, bank credit field examinations, and support of FSO
and ISO-9000 audits.
Conduct internal training sessions for project managers and staff and responsible for
recruitment and retention of professional management and administrative staff.

Recruited to serve as the first CFO for this nationally recognized health information
management professional services firm. Responsible for accounting, finance, and other
administrative functions, including contract administration, proposals, pricing, human
resources, facilities, and the related information technology function. Also, served as the
company’s acting chief operating officer, directing most daily activities and decision-
making. Led the design and implementation of a strategic planning process that included
an upgrade of the company’s marketing and business development processes. Directed
project managers in all aspects of client-service matters, setting priorities, and managing
internal and external resources. Other corporate duties included banking and cash flow
management, income tax planning, budgeting, contract and lease negotiation, facilities
