Caster General Foreman
I am responsible for departmental safety, scheduling, operations, development of employees and
budgeting. I was brought to the caster help commission our new turn over cooling bed, and new
tundishes with system 120 nozzle shooters. Both projects were successful and I earned the General
Foreman's position. During my time at the caster we have made significant strides in shrouding, both
ladle to tundish and tundish to mold. We have been successful on a consistent basis on medium
carbon grades both in shrouding and shape requirements. Each year our unplanned turns on the
caster have gone down by at least 10%. Coordinated closely with quality control regarding products
awaiting dispositions.Maintained and enforced a safe and clean working environment at all
times.Coordinated preventative maintenance on existing and new production equipment, including
routine calibration.Established and adjusted work procedures to meet production

Melter
As Melter I was assigned to the #8 furnace at Sterling Steel. I was responsible for the furnace, ladle
furnace, and scrap bay on my shift. Each year my shift was the top producer in tons per hour.

Refractory Supervisor Sterling Steel
During my time in the refractory area my responsibilities included safety, inventory management,
correct installation of materials in ladles and tundishes. Training and scheduling of employees in the
department. The refractory area is where all new employees start at Sterling Steel there jobs range
from sweeping and cleaning, refractory installation, operation of mobile equipment, to filling in for call
offs of sequenced employees.

I oversaw the the prefabrication, and welding of all parts that are required to build chiller, air
handling, and air quality units. Some of our biggest customers at that time were Budweiser,
