Steve’s Plumbing Service - Continuous
In working for my husband over the last couple of years I have learned to respect how
hard others work and have learned how to better manage his office and turn around of the
incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Plantes Hotel Renovation – June 11, 2008 – February 6, 2012
This company is a Hotel Renovation, Design, & Purchasing Company. My job title was
receptionist but I handled many other aspects of the office than that. I was in charge of
making sure all supplies were ordered and in stock. I helped all departments as they
needed with copies, printing, filing and organization. I was referred to by my coworkers
as the office mom, because there was nothing I couldn’t try to fix or help with when
asked.
Progressive Management Systems – March 6, 2006 – December 6, 2007
In working in the Medical Collections department of the office I have learned how to
handle dealing with various insurance companies as well as the importance of
communicating with all parties when dealing with Hospitals as well as insurance
companies.
CitiBank - September 1, 2003 – January 2006
Working for CitiBank the last two and a half years I have further sharpened my customer
service and mathematic skills. While assisting customer with their banking needs I
learned further how to utilize the computer and its programs to reach the desired affect to
better assist myself and my co-workers in assisting customer to reach and meet their
financial goals.
Vons Companies Inc. - September 18, 1995 – June 10, 2003
Working for the Vons Companies over the last seven years I have been cross-trained in a
number of different departments. Thus allowing myself to become a team player and to
help out in any department as needed to better service the customers.
Over the last three to four years I have assisted the Public Affairs department. I have
been trained on how to address customers concerns and assist stores with company
policies. I am capable of assisting customers with gift certificate orders and can properly
handle product complaints. I am also well trained in all of the computer programs that
are currently in use in Public Affairs.
During my time working with Public Affairs I also assisted as needed with the Vons
Foundation. Sending out correspondence and applications for grants as needed.
Updating the employee database of payroll deductions given to the foundation. Have
assisted with various different projects as needed.

COMPUTER SKILLS
I am knowledgeable in the following programs:
Access - Customer complaint log and gift certificate tracking system
Concord - A data base of customers with financial privileges attached to their Vons Club
cards.
Customer Care Application - A data base of all Vons Club members.
I am also knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel.
I am knowledgeable as well in QuickBooks program that I use and maintain for Steve’s
Plumbing Service.
CHARACTER
I am a detail-oriented person who likes things to be organized and planned out. I am a
dependable member of any team that I am on and thrive to learn new things from others
everyday.
I have a reputation of integrity and trust when given confidential task. I strive to see all
sides of a situation before I respond to how I will resolve it. I am a go getter and don’t
give up easily. I enjoy making others feel good and seeing my coworkers smile can
brighten my day. I have a high level of respect for authority and the reputation of my
employer is very important to me. I offer empathy and experience in many situations
which allows me to see through someone else’s eyes in various situations.
