As the former engineering manager for Centro Solar USA, Mr. de Caires is an
administrator and organizer working in a variety of administrative rolls providing
engineering research, editorial, administrative and support for programs related to sales,
technology development and implementation of solar for commercial, industrial and

residential projects in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut as well as various
locations in the North America such as Arizona, North Carolina and Ontario Canada.
Mr. de Caires personally supervised and prepares plans for over three hundred permit
applications under the supervision of Jim Marx PE who is licensed in 48 States
(California and Alaska exempt) since 2003 when he first started his career in solar energy
development. His career has spanned over 9 MW of residential projects and over 5 MW
of commercial projects. With his experience in power plant design, he has a great deal of
experience in the finer details of the NEC.

Awarded congressional publication in Poetry’s Elite the best poets of 2000;
Author of US Patent 8,269,374 B2 published Sept 18,2012, solar panel power
management system and method, a new approach to applied science of ecological
sources (solar, wind etc) for construction of more efficient and reliable grid
interactive battery backup electronics;
Co-Author of Forgotten People’s CDC Dine Rebuilding Communities Solar
Electrification and Refrigeration project. Grant application written on behalf of
more than 10,000 people living without access to electricity (on reservation lands)
located on the US mainland.
Worked with NYSunWorks in development of 'The Greenhouse Project' a K
through 12 after care program in science and sustainability which led to twelve
science laboratories primarily located at public schools in NYC.

project from point of receiving sales leads, to designing all the projects, permitting,
installation and inspections within six months. After completion the sales firm '1BOG'
said it was the most organized project they had ever seen from any contractor.
