Responsibilities included project management; overseeing the design and construction of

infrastructure projects according to the latest city, state, federal engineering design standards and

construction policies. Responsibilities consisted of drafting, scheduling, budgeting, design reports,

Districtwide Plan Review Contract, FDOT District 4, Broward County, Florida

• Performed civil infrastructure plan reviews which consist of analyzing constructability and

biddability design plans throughout District Four Counties.

consistency. Critical pay items quantities were verified through quantity comparisons

between project plans and computation book reducing inaccuracy in overall project cost.

• Completed over 100 plan review task orders under this contract.

SR 93/I-75 and Miramar Parkway Interchange Improvements (Low-Bid-Design/Build)

FDOT District 4, Miami-Dade and Broward County, Florida

• Extensive resident and utility coordination in assessing cost effectiveness which resulted in

the reduction of project scope and cost based on the traffic and environmental impact

concerns to the community and local residents.

• Prepared pavement design reports which compared budgeted costs to actual costs and

recommended construction modification to ensure project remained under estimated

budget.

• Assisted with the overall administration duties and preparation of plan documents such as

project plan set, permits, correspondents, and overall project quantities and cost.

Coordinated and assisted with municipal agencies, county transit, contractors and

landscape architect in completion of project from initial design plans to final construction.

Estimated quantities, cost of materials, and verified the quantities of subcontractors to

determine project feasibility and compatibility with project plan set.

Organized townhall meetings to inform residents of drainage and landscaping construction

impacts. The end result was the modification of project scope which was a cost value

benefit to the Palm Beach County and local residents.
