ACCOMPLISHMENTS

. Built a spending and headcount reporting application at Agilent

Technologies that reduced production time for monthly senior management

forecasts from two days to approximately 10 minutes. This was so

successful its use was expanded to all global infrastructure departments.

. Created and maintained an automated reconciliation process for Philips

Medical Systems that integrated and scrubbed invoice data from ten

separate legacy data warehouses and reconciled it to SAP. This saved an

estimated 200 man-hours each month and helped identify a $9 million FAS

52 foreign currency misreporting.

. Recovered more than $1 million in excess U.S. sales tax payments by

establishing a process to strengthen the interface between the SAP and

Vertax software systems at Philips Medical Systems. This process

continues to be used by Philips and has significantly reduced on-going

monthly sales tax payments.

. Developed an application that allowed the Internal Audit Department of a

governmental agency to do 100% audit testing of the agency's employee

expense reporting and identified more than $7 million in questionable

spending.

. Successfully established SOX compliance infrastructure at Vital

Processing Services; overcame initial project reluctance by conducting

training sessions; negotiated with process owners to balance SOX dead-

lines with other work-load considerations; prepared a detailed project

plan using MS Project; coached process owners in "controls-focused"

drafting techniques; prepared and presented weekly CEO/CFO updates.

Prepared consolidated financial statements and footnotes for the

Created a financial reporting and consolidations database that (i)

automated the retrieval of actual and budgeted financial and

operational data from various domestic and foreign ERP systems,

(ii) prepared automated intercompany elimination entries, (iii)

produced monthly USD and foreign currency internal reports and

analysis, and (iv) produced the monthly BOD and external reporting

package.

Automated the calculation of KPIs for the monthly reporting

package; automated the calculation of financial estimates,

including the calculation of reserves for excess and obsolete

inventory.

Drafted SOX documentation and worked with operational departments

on remediation efforts.

Ensured financial data integrity in connection with five separate

acquisitions/system integrations; oversaw and maintained chart of

accounts conversion to a new cost center based mapping schema.

Instituted a new fixed asset reporting process using the Sage FAS

software, prepared monthly reconciliations of the sub-ledger to the

general ledger, and drafted capitalization policies and procedures.

Built a production planning database for the company's China

subsidiary. This application used complex formulas for calculating

projected U.S. product demand, factored in build and ship times,

and ultimately produced a rolling FTM revenue forecast for the

China subsidiary.
