overhaul of the www.carnival.com website, a high traffic ecommerce website
with over 300,000,000 monthly users and tens of millions in monthly sales.
The effort resulted in a significant increase in traffic and millions in
increased monthly revenue. Converted the old website from WebForms to
ASP.NET MVC 3 framework with dependency injection using StructureMap,
Entity Framework, Sitecore CMS, jQuery, knockout.js. I lead an Agile/Scrum
team with four developers and two testers, designing solutions in tight
collaboration with various departments including the Graphic Design, IBM
Web Methods and Mainframe, Marketing and Revenue Management teams. Led the

and User Stories and Acceptance Criteria Driven Development (ACDD) using
mSpec, specFlow with WebAii for browser automation and jUnitDriver with
Jasmine for JavaScript unit testing.
Sample Projects
Led the implementation of ASP.NET MVC 3 for the new version of the
www.carnival.com website.
Designed a sophisticated CSS and JavaScript combiner module that plugs into
any web site with a minimum amount of configuration and at runtime grabs
all the JavaScript and CSS files and combines them into one of each. Does
not require any modifications of existing pages. Available via Nuget
(JsAndCssCombiner).
Designed a global email WCF service used by multiple web applications and
internal applications that combined content from Sitecore CMS bound to data
objects via the standalone Razor view engine.
Designed a single sign on mechanism using a custom implementation based on
the Forms authentication provider.
Was one of the leads in the implementation of Acceptance Criteria Driven
Development using specFlow and WebAii browser automation and mSpec unit
tests.
Worked on implementing countless features, performance optimizations,
security enhancements.
Improved the JavaScript codebase by refactoring procedural JavaScript to
Object Oriented components.

Intelligence web application based on the YUI library, jQuery, Asp.net 3.5,
C#, LogiXML Reports, .NET Charts, WCF, Analysis Services and the HOPS

Detection services to dozens of large retailers and governmental agencies
including Medicaid. It queries multidimensional cubes built on top of data
warehouses based on the HOPS engine.

controls with ajax functionality, charting capabilities and rich client-
side functionality such as drag and drop, auto suggest, validation, etc...
Played a leading role moving from CVS and SVN source control to Microsoft's
TFS. Trained the department in the usage of TFS. Was in charge of keeping
the various branches in sync.
Extended LogiXML's javascript libraries to make them more scalable and
maintainable, by adding custom events and custom validation logic and by
integrating them with our js libraries.
Designed a plug-in for LogiXML that handled the dynamic generation of MDX
queries used in the retrieval of data from Multidimensional Cubes stored in
the Analysis Services Data Warehouse.
Took the initiative in moving the existing framework from LogiXML to .NET
Charts.
