Prior to UTC, my last career assignments were at two Start-up business Operations in the Alternative Wind and
Industrial Power Generation Industries. First was as a core team member of Quality group at Mitsubishi Power
Systems a Multi-National Japanese Power Generation Turbine OEM. Second was as a Supplier Development/
Supplier Quality Manager for the start-up business unit of Gamesa Wind US in Fairless Hills, PA. Gamesa is a
manufacturer of 2MW Wind Turbines for the wind industry. This was a $500M per year Global Business Unit.
I have process knowledge of various manufacturing processes in various technologies which translate well to
managing and understanding complex custom engineered manufacturing such as:
Aerospace Manufacturing/ Gas Turbine Component Manufacturing and Repair Operations
Casting Foundries
Composites/fiberglass
Bolt/Fastener Manufacturing
Steel Plate Mfg.
Machine shops, Hydraulic Equipment Mfg pumps
Electrical transformers /Generators
Bearing manufacturing
Laser cutting, W elding and Non-Destructive testing.
I’ve visited many countries to perform these supplier development and qualification assessments to include
Japan, China, Korea, Europe, Canada and Mexico. My Business Acumen has enabled me to effectively manage
operations ranging from Customers to Senior Management and within highly matrixed organizations across different
business units. My military experience comes with Helicopter Flight Operations experience within the United States
Marine Corps Presidential Helicopter Squadron Marine One HMX-1 supporting the President, Vice President and
