• Managed works including indexing data, tuning relevance, developing custom

tokenizers and filters, adding functionality includes playlist, custom sorting and

regionalization with Solr Search Engine. Worked under agile methodology to

develop JUnit tests and closely interact with Quality Assurance team to improve

code quality and reliability. Built internal tools to facilitate works in Media Analyst

team. Provided APIs integrated search and recommendation results with metadata

information by XSLT, and exposing final compilation in JSON and XML format to

external customers serving 7 million requests per day.

• Going9: Researched natural language processing with an implementation of

Natural Chinese Input Method version 9. Adopted a mixture of rule-based and

statistics-based strategy to rank words ordering. Developed user interface under a

practice of Test-Driven Development along with unit tests in C# and VS .NET.

Created a comprehensive way to predict topology of alpha-helical membrane

proteins. Integrated six 3rd-parties bioinformatics tool at server-end to provide

prediction based on weighted-voting. Visualized predicted results with informative

illustration in forms and charts. Built front-end with Flex, and backend with PHP

and MySQL in presentation layer.

purchase. Provided e-shopping cart to hold temporary selections, and a comprehensive
