February 2011 - September 2012: Distribution Manager - NorthEast Linen Co.
Supervise 20 Route Men (Delivery Men) for company. Have fiscal
responsibility for Distribution Department to include salaries and all
distribution expenses associated with company with $10M in revenues.
Perform various financial analyses to achieve operational efficiencies and
expense reduction.
March 2009 - Feb 2011: Account Executive - NorthEast Linen Co. Responsible
for servicing 250 food service accounts generating approximately $2M in all
5 boroughs of NYC, Long Island, and Philadelphia area. Supplied uniforms,
table linens, and other products to operate corporate dining facilities and
independent restaurants. Performed various accounting functions including
pricing, profitability, A/R, and financial analysis.
1999-2008: Owner/Operator - Ludwig's Garten. Center City Philadelphia
Restaurant. Involved in all aspects of development, construction, and
operation of a German restaurant. Received numerous regional and national
"Top Ten" awards for "Best German Restaurant", "Best Beer Selection", "Best
Beer Bar", "Best Oktoberfest". Sold business in 2008.
1987-1996: Regional Accounting/District Property Manager - Interstate
Realty Management Company. Responsible for the fiscal and operational
management of 15+ properties ranging from townhouse to high-rise rentals in
NY, NJ, PA, VA, and MD. Managed assets totaling $20M, with operational
budgets totaling $3M. Directly supervised 60+ employees.
1983-1987: Senior Financial Analyst - Midlantic Bank. Responsible for the
monthly Board of Directors Report, which included all analyses of
commercial, real estate, and installment portfolios and the management and
profitability of a regional bank with assets totaling $10B.
1990-1999: Adjunct Faculty. Camden County Community College. Part-time.
(evenings) Taught college level accounting classes including Accounting I,
II, Financial Accounting, and Income Tax Accounting.
MILITARY:
1979-1988: United States Marine Corps. Active and Reserve Duty. Attained
the rank of Sergeant (E-5) Awards include Good Conduct Medal, overseas
deployment ribbon, Honorable Discharge.
