not limited to, letters, reports, investigative
findings, statements of charges, position
statements, memorandums of understanding, and
contract language
• Serve as chief negotiator during contract
negotiations with certificated (teachers) and non
certificated personnel (educational support
personnel)
• Direct and sustain the bargaining process from
beginning to end by: assisting with establishment
of realistic parameters; developing definitive
strategies; monitoring local, state, and national
trends; developing and administering surveys;
reviewing data; training and mentoring Board
bargaining team members; interpreting contract
language, Board policies, and applicable collective
bargaining laws; monitoring Public School Labor
Relations Board activities, rules, procedures, and
rulings; making recommendations; communicating
with internal and external stakeholders; drafting
and revising proposals, rationales, and contract
language; reviewing tentative agreements prior to
ratification; and preparing ratified agreements for
publication
• Work directly with appropriate staff to help
transition to fully integrated digital personnel
records management system
• Work directly with administrators and
supervisors to develop and implement specialized
