. Transformed from Project Manager managing the transfer of businesses

from San Jose to Memphis. Worked very early on with the Business

Units in providing several Quotes and product pricing to solidify the

RFQ from Riverbed. In the process several volume sensitivity

analysis were performed to set pricing to maintain %COI.

. Successfully transferred production from San Jose plant to Memphis,

within a 3 Month Window and hit every customer commitment from NPI in

08/10, Ramp-up in 09/09, to full production. Met and surpassed all

Quality %FPY and OTD metric.

Quality & Industrial Engineering Manager

2007-2009

. Managed a Staff of over 30 Engineers and Techs.

. Under my guidance HP saw productivity gains quarter over quarter,

identified and implemented productivity improvements of "Blocking &

Starving" on assembly lines, this increased UPH

. Effectively migrated in HP from a low mix high volume to a high mix

and low volume, developed the first Kaizen for change over

improvements

. Successfully worked on setting up the first Forced production line

for the IBM Pick Pack area. This increased the productivity by 30%.

. Reduced the foot print of the IBM work cell from 350K Sq. Ft. to 260K

Sq. Ft. in the process consolidated all operations to one building

driving nearly half a million dollars in cost avoidances, with

increased productivity.

. Worked as a key member of the award winning NetApp launch. Received

praises from the customer for setting up a scalable and flexible

assembly process by eliminating a lot of wastes. Introduced the

concepts of lean manufacturing to the engineering group and taught

them the concept of Takt Time and the Yamazumi diagram

. Integral part of the Isilon launch took upon critical roles on a

necessary basis. Set up a U- Line assembly concept successfully

convinced the customer to take away extra burn in test for Hard

Drives. Developed the Test Networking Topography with the Isilon

engineering team during the launch period.

. Lead the IBM Storage Launch ran it thru 2 very successful supplier

readiness reviews and completed all NPI's 2 week in advance.

Provided management on critical resource requirements well in advance

to mitigate potential risk. This is the first workcell to make a

positive PC during its first month in production. Ramped up from 20%

to 100% in a matter of a week. Managed a difficult customer.

. Responsible for the initial launch of lean initiatives in the plant.

Was successfully mentoring all engineering activities by driving with

data.

. Developed the first process capabilities by product family for the

NetApp workcell, worked with the Quality teams developing p & u-

charts.

. Sent all QE to get a college online class to learn to use six sigma

tools. Mentored the Maintenance Supervisor and a Lead IE to go back

WIP inventory and back flush process.

. Installed an entire back belt on Assembly line which included laying
