"Please, think outside of the box!"
That has always been my business and personal philosophy. I believe that
creativity, along with proper boundaries, ensuring compliance, flow and
profitability, is the driving force behind any successful business. My
natural abilities have always sought the most efficient, compliant and
revenue producing means to effectively manage work flows of any nature.
I've proven this throughout my career to the delight of my Superiors.
Here are some examples:
. Streamlined and managed high profile investigations within Paying and
Receiving Operations thereby facilitating a larger flow while reducing
backlogs.
. Managed Domestic Vostro Accounts, eventually closing 95% of these
accounts as inactive/unnecessary and freeing up several million
dollars on a daily basis for use elsewhere.
. Created policy to oversee transfer or payment accuracy of several
hundreds of millions of dollars effecting proper bank usage and
avoiding funds mis-management and associated liability costs.
. Initiating and coordinating the transfer of Federal Reserve Bank
Reserve Requirement reports internally thus creating more accuracy and
transparency while freeing up trading time for desk personnel.
. Initiated and managed transfer of overseas deposit operations
internally.
. Acted as liaison for all internal/external Bank Audits and wrote
policy and procedure for marking to market.
. Turned around a portfolio that was loosing approximately $2 million+
annually through mis-management. Before the end of the first year the
portfolio was no longer loosing any money and by the end of the second
year, the portfolio was generating approximately $ 3 million profit
through proper Gap Management.
. Consistently met and exceeded trading budget through use of Gap
Management and Derivatives Trading.
. Assisted in technology specifications for trading platforms through
consultative client interviews.
. Initiated, wrote and managed weekly Market briefings with forecasting
for "C" level clientele through North America in various Financial
Institutions.
. Spearheaded sales efforts for North America for various companies.
. Acted as point person for various new technology and software
applications providing Senior Management with "hands on"
approval/disapproval.
These are just a few of the highlights of my experiences throughout the
years. On several occasions I've also managed small groups of personnel
(operations and sales) domestically and trained my counterparts in overseas
branches as pertinent to a given project.
I firmly believe that my vast array of experiences will be of monumental
advantage to any prospective employer. Please read my CV, noting that this
is merely a very brief snapshot of my career, and again, please think
outside of the box!

Summary
As you can see, I have vast experience across several disciplines within
the Financial Services arena. My banking experience was mainly cultivated
at one of the world's most premier Banks, that being Swiss Bank Corp. NY.
There, I learned how to service the most discriminating high net worth
clients (and Institutions) that expected and demanded perfect service.
During my tenure with SBC, NY, I worked as a Dealer for a multitude of
Money Market Products encompassing Cash and Derivative Products. Focused
growth in the lines of Gap Management, IRS, FRA's, T-Bills, U.S Govies,
Euro CD's, Japanese Euro CD's, Commercial Paper, Yankee CD's, BA's, FX
Forwards, FRN's, Repo's & Futures amongst others and across 7 different
currencies. These experiences fostered a high level of Macro and Micro
Economic understandings and accurate movement projections across the Globe.
My Sales experience was almost entirely servicing "C" level management in
Front, Mid and Back Offices. My clientele was mainly the top 50 Banks,
Brokers, Money Managers, and Insurance Companies
Upon entering the Sales side of the phone, which I've now been in for 13
years, I've learned and become quite comfortable with people or client
management. Again, I've always catered to "C" Level clientele and over the
years have built up wonderful friendships, both professionally and
personally. I truly believe that any Institution can not be any better than
its commitment level to servicing its clients.
With regards to my Operations experience, not only was I a First Line
Supervisor, but I also achieved Certification in Bank Operations from one
of the most prestigious schools in the industry, The Bank Administration
Institute held at the University of Wisconsin, Madison Campus. This course
was 146 Credit Hours in totality.
One of the things that I've garnered from my past experience is a "Can Do"
attitude. Having been thrust into many different venues, I've learned
confidence in that I can and will achieve any task presented to me.
I've also learned how to effectively employ and cultivate the "Team Spirit"
and have often been known as a Team Motivator, not just merely a player.
Again, never loosing sight of expected project results.
As my CV will validate, I've learned this business from the ground up, by
learning how to make decisions, to keep an eye on the bottom line, always
seek to efficiently streamline the flow while providing ultimate product
and service to the client/customer base. (Please note that my CV doesn't
even come close to effectively portraying all the achievements and tasks
that I've been involved, otherwise it would be way too long).
In all my career, at everything that I've put my hand too, I've always
achieved a higher than expected performance, as attested by every Manager
and review that I've had over my career.
I would welcome the opportunity (and challenge) to perform for any employer
that has the foresight to see my worth and value. An employer that thinks
outside the box, that is just as loyal and engrossed in achieving end
results as I am.
I truly thank you for your time and any considerations,
Most respectfully,
August M. Hochenberger
