LEGAL CAREER SUMMARY

First practiced as a litigation associate for a general practice firm in

Nigeria in the areas of civil and criminal defense, family law and

corporate litigation. Hired subsequently as a senior associate but grew to

be a partner in a medium sized firm with large and diverse caseload

covering civil litigation, family law practice, criminal defense, corporate

finance, company secretarial practice, employment discrimination,

immigration, real property, estates and trusts law practice. Involved in

negotiating and drafting agreements, leases, contracts reviews and company

incorporation amongst others. Relocated to the United States and while

preparing for the Bar Examinations, worked as a paralegal in a small sized

firm before being admitted to the New York State Bar.

KEY CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS

. Obtained and levied execution of multi-million dollar judgment on

behalf of a Belgian Company named Skol International Development

Limited (S.I.D.L) a subsidiary of UNIBRA SA group for breach of

contract.

. Participated in the drafting of the Memorandum and Articles of

Association, the Joint Venture Agreement and other legal documents

pursuant to the incorporation of the first private mobile

telecommunications company in Nigeria - Mobile Telecommunications

Services Ltd (MTS).

. Obtained expatriate quota allocations and work permits for Techint

CimiMontubi Ltd and Litwin - foreign companies engaged in the

construction of the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas and Petrochemical

industries.

Advised and represented companies such as the following:

1. Pauwels International N.V of Mechelen Belgium. This is an Energy

company involved in the manufacturing of 3-phased distribution &

power transformers. It offers electrical turnkey projects up to 500 KV

and provides advanced products and services to the substation

automation market. It equally provides transformers to renewable

energy sector especially in the field of wind energy.

2. BDH of England - manufacturers and suppliers of fine chemicals and

laboratory chemicals, pharmaceutical products of the highest purity

and liquid crystals.

3. Nuova CimiMontubi SpA, an Italian construction giant involved in

engineering and design, project development, nuclear power plant and

pipeline installation and repairs. Eventually incorporated the

Nigerian subsidiary called Techint Cimimontubi Nig. Ltd due to the

large volume of their business ventures in the Nigerian oil, gas and

petrochemical industry.

4. First Foundation Medical Engineering Company Ltd - a medical

engineering company

Represented high net worth individuals and mid-sized to large corporations

in all phases of complex litigation including appeals to the highest courts

of the land.

Participated in the mergers and acquisitions of trading companies, banks

and insurance companies including advising on private companies seeking to

go public and issuing their Initial Public Offers (IPOs)

. Recently prepared the appellate brief of a dismissed employee with a

security company whose dismissal had been upheld by an administrative

judge but eventually obtained judgment in the employee's favor from

the appellate court.
