Quality Assurance Supervisor

09/2010- Present

. Trained, scheduled and motivated a team of 24 Batching technicians, 4

Material Handlers 1 Maintenance Technician, 16 QA Line Techs, 2 Tanker

receivers, 4 Shift Leads, 4 Sanitarians and 1 Water Filtration

Operator. Scheduled the staff efficiently and worked on cross training

and standard work activities in order to achieve 15% or less over

time.

. Reduced the holds for extended batch time by the implementation of

batch size changes, special rules for batching in order to avoid

microbiological problems and maximum dwell times. Experience with

batching computers and programs.

. Led the water treatment operator and created a team to improve the

operations at the water filtration area. Increased the daily reclaimed

water average by 170% on 2013, compared to 2011. This helped us to

exceed our plant WUR goal for 2012.

. Trained and Led the Santarians Team, in charge of plant wide: GMP,

Pest Control, Pre-operative inspections, Master Sanitation Schedules,

SSOPs, SOPs, Sterility investigations, pre- operative inspections,

etc.

. Worked on different projects at the production lines as: detection

system challenges, air and water rinsers test and monitoring, HFCS

and Concentrate receiving, etc.

. Managed the Commercialization process for new products and

reformulations, updates of the Master Mixing instructions in the

Batching computers and Line Tech documentation, as well as the

Flavor Matrix and other controlled documents related to it.

. Successfully assisted the facility ISO audits, Q1, Organic, Kosher

and Silliker audits, as well as gap assessments, KORE and CCR

requirements implementation.
