Michigan Seamless Tube- November 2010- July 2011- Environmental and Safety Manager

Responsible for all environmental requirements including air permits, chemical usage reports, tracked all chemical purchases,

ground water monitoring, managed and supervised waste water treatment plant operations and sampling, all PSM and LDAR

concerns/requirements, all DOT, EPA, MDEQ, and MIOSHA reporting and record keeping requirements, all solid waste disposal,

all salvage material sales, managed all utilities, and supervised all air and water sampling; no fines, no permit limit concerns, all

reporting done on time, reduced costs, and corrected waste water treatment plant concerns,

Managed and Monitored all safety aspects of heavy manufacturing plant; instituted “safety huddle” program which reduced

incident rate; updated the Hazardous Material Safety Procedures Program to reflect more current safety requirements

Managed and provided all OSHA, DOT, and EPA required training

Monitored all contractor work and safety requirements

Assisted with all infrastructure upgrades and maintenance, reducing costs, and reducing down time

Started a complete redesign of all water usage in the plant to reduce the use of well water

Set up new safety incident report procedures, which included the requirement that “near misses” be written up also; all had to be

Made up and approved all site safety plans and produced all “Pre-task Plans” for all job sites

Supervised hundreds of construction and environmental projects- $447 million replacement of all UST systems at all research

facilities in 3 states, $287 million replacement of all PCB transformers in all research facilities in 3 states; all within time-budget-

regulatory-customer requirements

Managed and championed the establishment of the GRASP and SHARP safety programs for over 28,000 employees

Engineered, managed and championed the establishment of the Ford Flammable Material Delivery System Management Safety

Program (process safety management) and the establishment of the LDAR program for all UST/AGST systems.

Responsible for all waste management for all waste streams for the same research facilities

Signed all regulatory paperwork, including all waste and hazardous waste manifests, all DOT paperwork, waste stream approvals,

all waste site contracts, signed all sample paperwork, all liquid waste, all lab-pack waste, all solid waste

Trained and assured all employees involved were properly trained in all applicable regulatory requirements

Project manager for 5 waste water treatment facilities; managed removal of contaminated soil from 23 sites; managed the

removal/remediation of over 1600 UST sites; all within time/budget/regulatory requirements without any fines and all regulatory

inspections passed

and plans; approved all contractor pre-task plans; no OSHA or MIOSHA recordable incidences or inspection fines and all
