Currently, as Prepress & Production Technology Manager in a $30m annually
print marketing company, I provide a comprehensive connection between Art

Prior, I worked 10 years as the Prepress Manager for a narrow web flexo
label print company specializing in high regulated pharmaceutical markets.
I was a senior member of the Total Quality ISO 9001 management team and
conducted audits and documentation. I have vast knowledge of the
specifications, limitations and processes required to produce quality
product.
After leaving the Printing Company, I worked as a contract Project
Coordinator for the Graphic, Packaging and Engineering Dept of a major
Pharmaceutical manufacturer working with a variety of Printers implementing
the Spotless color systems, the Pharmaceutical requirements and Printers
limitations. This required knowledge of both sides of the vendor/customer
relations, and thorough knowledge of printing, color management, trapping,
graphics and computer systems.

variety of Printers driving the implementation of the Spotless color
systems saving 25% on printing costs. This required knowledge of both sides

PrePress and IT Manager Global Business Systems
January 1998 - July 2008
Managed the operations of Pre-Press and IT departments of narrow web flexo
pressure sensitive pharmaceutical label production. Senior member of the
ISO 9001 Quality Management team.
1. Managing artist in art design, proofing, and film creation using the
latest graphical applications and proofing techniques. This required both
mentoring staff and hands on customer relations.
2. Extensive hands-on knowledge of all Graphic software, printing related
Proofing and Imaging systems, and Flexo Pre-Press workflows.
Knowledgeable in troubleshooting and technology for both Apple and
Windows software/hardware. Experience in complete Color management, 4 and
8 color process/spot printing, Flexo Printing plates and prepress
systems.
3. The wide range of projects gave me the ability to utilize the full range
of IT projects, equipment and processes, color management and quality
procedures, plant layout and workflow analysis.
4. Restructured the workflow process to reduce waste by 33%.
5. Reorganized the workflows, filing and job positions, decreasing
turnaround times from 5 days to 2 days
6. Tested extensively using 8-color process (Spotless) to simulate the full
range of spot colors. This process reduced set-up time by 50%; saving 66%
of the cost of producing short runs
