V Responsible for overall operation & maintaining project.

V Initiated New Taiwan make duplex cutter installation synchro flysheet

cutter to supply trim free board.

V Handled shifting of cutters from existing plant location to another

recovery system for back water to maximise the use of back water.

V Supervised selection and dismantling of multiwire paper machine from

Spain and logistic of complete plant from Spain to existing site in

Ambivli.

V Completed engineering and designing of new paper machine is carried out

in-house with support of technocrats.

V Dexterity in erection and commissioning of 4.5 MW co-generation plant

which was under hold for several years was carried out and successfully

commissioned under a record period of 14 months.

V Responsible for modernization of duplex board machine to increase

production from 120Tpd to 200 Tpd the following additional equipments

/change of equipments carried out like replacing old "RF vat" with new

"pressure formers". Installation of blade coater and erection of

additional heaters and blowers for drying coating, installation of

pressure screen and fan pumps as per new capacity at approach flow.

V Advised and supervised the design team for designing and installation of

top wire in craft machine to reduce fiber cost. Handled replacement of

"wooden vats" to "pressure formers" in multilayer duplex board machine.

V Stabilised and synchronised to increase the productivity of the plant

from 55 tpd to 85 tpd. The power consumption was brought down from 585

Kwh/ton to 350 Kwh/ton, which was achieved by modifying the vacuum

system, approach flow system, optimization of pulp mill equipment to

maximize the output of each and every equipment and system.

V Supervised design team for the final layout of 150 tpd writing and

printing m/c. Erection and commissioning of pressure formers, drying

cylinders, coating plant for multilayer Duplex Board m/c.

V Responsible for increasing mechanical stability with introducing

modifications to machine foundations. Replaced UMV Swedish former with

Black Clawson formers imported from the UK. M/c speed increased from

4000tpm to 5000tpm.

V Responsible for rebuilding M/C and installing RF Vat formers and online

coater, as after the completion of modification M/C started to produce

coated duplex board comparable with the other competitors.

V Increased production from 58Tpd to 82Tpd & reduced water Consumption from

24 m3/ton to 14 m3/ton & power consumption from 460kwh to 380kwh.

V Responsible for rebuilding PM-10 M/c which was planned by the management,

which was carried out successfully in time bound manner & involved the

component's installation of UMV Formers, New Press Part, Blind Drilled PU

Coated Rolls in press part for better dryness & Dryer.

V Increased production from 60 Tpd to 82 Tpd & Reduced steam from 2.6

m3/ton to 1.8 m3/ton. Also reduced power consumption from 600kwh to

480kwh.

V Independently handled charge of complete plant operation and maintenance.

V Responsible for procuring and commissioning second hand newsprint

producing M/C from U.K & Installed, imported second-hand synchro fly

output 4MW. Also converted HP Boiler from lignite fuel to steam coal fuel
