Mini project:

Study of protection package of 315MVA auto power transformer. Various types

of relays Differential,Restricted E/L,Bucholz &Overvoltage,Overcurrent

relays are used for protection against short circuit and internal faults.

Main project:

Super capacitors and battery power management for hybrid vehicle

applications using multi boost and full bridge converters.To reduce

pollution problems and increased fuel costs we are using Battery in

combination with supercapactiors .In full bidge converter supercapactior,

planar T/F,AC to DC CONVERTERS and in boost converter only supercapactior

and ac to dc converters is required. By proper management of power using

above topoliges cost & weight of battery is reduced .power in batteries can

be boosted using Boost converters during shortage of power and can be

managed using full bridge converter when excess power requires.

supercapacitor supply power during transient states & Batteries supply

power during steady states.

We were a team of four students and I am the project leader
