Nature of Duties:
> Interpretation of the contract General and Technical specifications.
> Supervising on site and mobilization
> Supervision and according approvals for job mix formulas for sub base,
base and wearing courses for flexible pavements (DBM&BC) and rigid
pavements (PQC).
> Preparation of monthly work certificate and maintaining records of
monthly Receipt.
> Assisting the Manager suggestions. Expert in setting up the field
works.
> I am responsible for quality of work activities of various pavement
layers and structures.
> Directly responsible to junior pavements engineer for day to day
activities and involved construction materials in accordance with the
project and technical specifications.
> Supervising the site works & quality of work, of GSB, WMM and asphalt
works like BM, DBM, BC, PQC, DLC MORT&H and other relevant
specifications.
> Planning by closely inter acting with senior management managing
consultancy, monitoring position, directly controlling the site and up
keeping of quality work.
> Identification of work, troubles @construction site.
> Checking of suitability of highway construction materials like soil,
moorum, Bitumen, cut back bitumen, Emulsion, Aggregates, stone dust
etc. by collecting various tests at different stages of works of the
project
> Checking the suitability of road marking, kerb marking paints and
glass beads and all other road finishing ancillary works
> Evaluation of distressed pavement by conducting various works
> Monitoring of various Quality control field works done by field
engineers
> Regular inspection of construction machinery and produce desired
works.
> Preparation and up keeping of quality records and monthly progress
reports.
I am responsible for supervison of operation and maintenance
in accordance with EPC, BOQ contract. This includes emergency, routine,
periodic, disaster maintenance and inspections. Iam responsible for road
inventory and road condition survey. Iam also responsible for supervison
of (1)routine road maintenance which includes filling pot holes,
repairing of cracks etc.(2)Periodic maintenance (3)Rehabilation &
Strengthening. Maintenance of road like restoration rain cuts it shall
consists of earth work in embankment and shoulders. Maintenance of cement
concrete roads. Preparation of requirements like service roads, Terminal
slabs etc.
