Insulation and Asbestos Abatement jobs.

participated in many Human Resource activities including: application review, administering pre-
qualification tests, data entry, benefit organization and processing.
Corporate Safety Manager: (2001-2005) Geo. V. Hamilton, Inc., Pittsburgh, PA – While working for GVH
I managed all safety and health related issues for all their industrial and commercial job sites. I also
managed all their workers’ compensation claims for 3 states. Also performed job site safety functions as
needed for larger projects and outages.
Safety Coordinator: (2005-2007) Brown Services – I was contracted through Brown to work on American
Electric Power (AEP) Project’s sites during stages of environmental upgrades on coal fired power
stations. Site employee counts up to 900. Some of my responsibilities included: reviewing JSAs, work
area inspections, safety orientation, conducting safety meetings, safety reports, reviewing contractor
safety manuals, and involvement with OSHA inspections and responses to citations.
Sr. Safety Coordinator: (2007 – Current) American Electric Power (AEP) – I have been working for AEP
Construction Services as a Site Safety Lead since 2007. Cardinal Plant environmental upgrades until June
2012 and now Rockport environmental upgrades. Site employee counts up to 1200. My responsibilities
include: same as with Brown Services plus reviewing contractor expectations during prebid and project
kickoff meetings, ensuring all federal, state and local regulations (OSHA and EPA) are observed, and all
AEP policies and procedures are followed. Submitting weekly safety reports to corporate, performing all
required safety training for contractor craft and AEP employees at the site, assisting contractor safety
professionals with injury case management as needed, and maintaining positive working relationships
with all AEP management, Contractor supervision, and craft employees on site.
