D uties included overseeing all daily Warehouse functions, including but not limited to
D r iver Routing, Order Picking, Employee Disciplinary issues and Grievances. Assisted in
t he strategy and implementation of state of the art, up to date Slotting System, which
decreased inventory damages and losses while increased productivity and storage for
p roduct over-f low. Addressed and handled all disciplinary issues including union
g rievances. Routed daily routes for 16 drivers and oversaw 50 warehouse employees,
consisting of 1st and 2nd shifts. Increased profitability for D.L Mathews by increasing
p roductivity and eliminating overtime from Warehouse Personnel. Directly handled all
Customer Service issues pertaining to our customers. Oversaw the assembling, addressing,
s tamping, and shipping of merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and
recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the t ransportation of
p roducts. Order pulling, E-Commerce, returns and customer service on daily basis.

accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment. Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills
of lading, and shipping orders to route materials. Record shipment data, such as weight,
charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and
recordkeeping purposes. Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of
shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare
materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools, and postage
meter. Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such
as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications. Requisition and store
shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Contact carrier
representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of
materials. Compute amounts, such as space available, and shipping, storage, and complete
charges, using calculator or price list. . Discuss inspection results with those responsible
for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions. Record inspection or test data,
such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or
g raded. Mark i tems with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status. Observe
and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications
and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments.
