TMR paraprofessional
Assigned to help an individual student with school assignments and took individual to classes, helping the student only when necessary. The student was wheelchair bound, therefore he needed help in the restroom, changing him with the help of the male teacher. The TMR class took part in the Special Olympics in which I assisted the student. If it so happened that the student wasn't in class I assisted other special students and the teacher, worked the middle school summer session with special needs students.

Special Education Teacher Assistant
Assisted physically handicapped students that were mainstreamed into the school were assigned to the teacher assistant’s care. My job consist of helping the teacher prepare for class assisting by grading class- work. The special needs students were given help as they needed it, a group of students who had difficulty keeping up with the class were also assisted. Over the years the needs of the student changed therefore, my duties as a
teacher assistant would be modified.
