O ffice Support: Working in this Psychiat ric office I was the first person to greet
patients, setting a professional tone to our office. I handled payment reconciliation with
patients, answer phone calls, forwarding on messages to the doctors as well as returning
calls in a t imely manner. Setting boundaries for patients to protect the integrity of our
office, obtaining prior authorizations for medication and services rendered, also making
sure medications are being filled appropriately and reporting any medication abuse or
non compliance when it occured. Submit ting applications for patient assistance
medications our patients are unable to afford and reordering as specified by the
p harmaceutical companies. Corresponding with insurance companies and acquiring
benefit information for billing purposes as well as rectifying any unpaid claims. Entering
client payments, drafting letters, insurance payments scheduling appointments, keeping
t he office neat and orderly at all t imes, managing petty cash and copayments on a daily
basis allowing my employer to see I am honest and can be t rusted with business funds.
Regularly contacting and interacting with drug representatives to have medication
samples on hand, as well as any task assigned to me by our office manager. ($12.00/hr)
Jefferson City Correctional Center (JCCC) (November 2010- May 2011) Pharmacy
T echnician: I checked i n and preparing medication to be distributed to inmates,
scheduling medication pickups, reordering and filling request for doctors and nurses
b rought throughout the day. Recorded inventory with the pharmacy nurse twice weekly
and ordered medical supplies and medications needed at the appropriate times. Updated
Medication Administration Record Sheets (MARS) as new orders were added or removed
f rom patient regimens. ($9.50/ hr)
Scholastic (August 2010-November 2010 Temporary) Customer Service Representative:
Answered phones and entered in orders as well as assisting customers with online ordering functions.
Required to be proficient with the computer and have a high quality of customer service on a consistent
basis. ($8.00/hr)
Pathways (August 2009-November 2009 Part-time) Substance Abuse Technician:
Ran groups with clients to assist them in recovering from their substance abuse issues. Supervising clients
to ensure their safety and the safety of staff and their peers, maintaining the schedule to allow consistency
and structure to be a part of their everyday routine. Ensuring that billing is done for all the groups ran
during my shift and writing a communication log on each client with important information during my
shift. ($9.57/hr)
Boone County Family Resources (December 2007-August 2009 Full-time) Assisted Living Assistant
Maintained a clean and organized environment for developmentally disabled residents to lead
independent and quality lifestyles. Preparing meals and taking each resident grocery shopping throughout
the week to allow them healthy and varied diets. Transported them to events in the community to help
them be involved in different activities, and ensuring that they took their medications as prescribed. Each
day we were assigned clients to assist with skills of daily living (cleaning, meal preparation, meal
planning, hygiene etc) as well as making sure they completed their delegated chores. ($11.02/hr)
Callaway County Special Services (May 2007-October 2007 Part time) Supported Living Assistant:
I worked with a client in his home and ensured that he received his daily medication, keeping him
company throughout the day. I also made sure his home was clean and orderly for him and assisted him in
preparing meals and grocery shopping whenever needed. If he wanted to go out into the community I was
in charge of transporting him. ($9.25/hr)
Fulton State Hospital (Full-Time/PRN)
(11/2004- 11/2007) and (11/2009- 2/2/2010) Forensic Rehabilitation Specialist:
Duties included making sure the unit maintained a clean and safe environment for clients and staff. We
had to go around every half hour ensuring they were safe and not harming themselves or others. As staff
we participated in activities with patients throughout my shift, allowing them a chance to relax and
socialize with staff and peers. Received evaluations expressing my competence and effectiveness while
on the job. ($24,000/yr)
Education:
Columbia College- Seeking a degree in Psychology with a minor in business (over 90 credit hours
completed, due to financial reasons had to take some time off).

I am Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office Therapy; as well as being proficient with
Internet Explorer and Netscape. I also have a strong ability with managing money, receiving praise from
