• Project1: “AUTOMATIC DOOR OPENER”

• Components used: ICs (NE555, TSOP1738, LM7805, CD4017), Relay, Limit switch, Transformer

etc.

• DESCRIPTION: The device automatically opens the door when somebody comes and closes after he

entered into room. This device works on 38 kHz IR. Frequency, two intercepting line is there, one is

in front of the door and another is in rare side of the door. Whenever somebody intercepts the

first/second line it gets triggered and activates the motor in the direction determined by the internal

circuitry. Thus it senses the entrance of a person and operates the opening/closing the door.
