SITE SUPERVISOR/PROJECT MANAGER October 2007 to Present

Managed sites from start to finish in high-end new home construction and remodelling.
Reviewed plans and blueprints with sub contractors to insure the project was built to
within the required specs.
Met with designers, home owners, the general contractor and sub-contractors to review
design changes and insured the correct changes were made.
Procured materials such as lumber, tile, insulation, electrical supply, piping, etc to keep
the process moving forward.
Set up and maintained safety standards and security at the sites. Usually opened and
closed the site each day.
Met with City inspectors on site and also took in revised plans to the necessary Planning
Departments for approval.

Quebecor World Printing, Aurora On.
Managed the account for The Bay, Dell Computers, and Wal-Mart for printing and
distribution though out Canada in two languages.
Managed over $6,000,000 per month in printing revenues at three printing locations
simultaneously in Aurora, Montreal, and Vancouver.
Worked with outside vendors concerning any finishing work, special projects, inserts, or
procurement..
Set up distribution with trucking and carriers to get product to their destination in time
and at the correct locations.
Worked with the sales team, schedulers, production managers and production
departments to insure on time delivery of finished goods.

Haagen Printing, Santa Barbara, California
Handled over 25 jobs per month for numerous clients including the University of
California at Santa Barbara, Pepperdine University, Den-mat Corporation (makers of
Rembrandt toothpaste), the City and County of Santa Barbara and Tenet Healthcare.
Wrote the job ticket, ordered stock, designed the layout, scheduled the pressruns, handled
the proofing, scheduled the bindery and final delivery
Worked closely with the Sales rep I was assigned too, the production manager, and the
bindery manager to insure on time delivery of the final product.
Worked directly with the client and sales rep in implementing any change orders that
were needed during production or delivery and relayed that information to
production.
Handled all outside vending for my projects for special binding, finishing, or inserting.
NORTH AMERICAN PRODUCT REP August 1996- December 1997
Ramada Furniture, Christchurch, New Zealand
Researched markets for distribution of Teak garden furniture in the California, Arizona,
and Nevada areas.
Identified which products were already available and researched pricing and styles
Went to Indonesia to work with the owners of Ramada to help oversee purchasing,
shipping, manufacturing and procurement.
Worked with shipping container companies to load containers for shipment to Singapore
and on to Australia and New Zealand.
Worked in New Zealand at the Ramada store and factory site to help in sales, distribution,
shipping and planning of a North American product line.
QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER & PROOFING AND PLATING MANAGER
Blake Printery, San Luis Obispo, California December 1999-June 2004
(Specializing in Wine and food labels)
Hired into the plating and proofing department and became the department supervisor for
the two shifts.
Became the main operator of the step and repeat machine and trained all other department
staff on how to operate the equipment.
Redesigned the Proofing and Plating department when the new equipment arrived,
planned the department for a linear work flow process.
Added new lighting and viewing easels to review plates and proofs for quality control
and accuracy.
Was promoted to develop and head a Quality Control department.
I took the department from a clipboard to a full operational department and cut losses by
more than 60% in the first 3 months.
Developed a discrepancy report to tract loses, identify mistakes, communication errors,
press and bindery problems whether personnel or equipment related and gave the loss
a dollar value.
Heading the Q. C. meeting attended by the president of the company, the production
manager, and the sales and operations managers. Reviewed the departmental losses
and assigned action items to assess equipment needs, design changes, repairs or
upgrades to equipment and to implement personnel training and awareness.
Created and maintained the Gold Book, a company manual that contained all design rules
and operational standards by department for training and reference.
Worked with the sales staff, clients and production to promote Quality Control and
progressive production standards.
I would go to the client’s sites to meet with their design teams, production staff, and
management to advise on how to design in manners for better quality.
I would sometimes head a team of inspectors to go to a client site and inspect product for
possible discrepancies to insure they didn’t get to the bottling line.
