Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing in regard to the opportunity that is being provided by
Placement Services USA, Inc., of which I was made aware of recently
and would be like the opportunity to work and learn from a company
such as yourself.
I have done my Bachelors in Computer Engineering from BIT, Bangalore,
however two years into my Computer Engineering I decided that math
would be my field of interest, rather than Computer Science. As a
result of which I chose entirely math based electives in my final two
years, while still fulfilling my Computer Engineering requirements as
it was not possible to change majors two years in. It was for this
reason I chose to do Operations Research during my graduate studies.
As a part of my curriculum I have taken a number of courses which will
be essential and core in today’s business forum. As an Analyst I would
use me keen and sharp quantitative ability to perform the task given
to me and with my good social skills interacting with the clients will
not be something I will shy away from. I am well versed in the
happenings of the business world and with my assiduous work ethic and
thirst to learn I think I would make a fine addition to your
prestigious firm. I am highly motivated and make sure I meet deadlines
well in advance. As far as experience I worked as a quantitative
analyst and built business models using optimizing softwares as a part
of my internship over the summer of 2011 and presently. I gained an
immense amount of knowledge and learnt how to function effectively in
a business setting.
I am well aware that a large number of qualified candidates would have
applied for the position and I thank you for considering my
application.
Thanking you,
Yours Sincerely,
Rohan Vijay Guthal
P.S I have put my resume in this mail as well.
