operations. Created an INTRANET for the organization and purchased a
Content Management System, for each of the user communities to mange it's
own content. Reviewing and managing the HIPAA regulations and Disaster
Recovery Procedures for the organization Managed the evaluation and the
implementation of the LAWSON Human Resources/ Payroll system for the
complete organization consisting of corporate and 12 remote sites.
Managing the implementation and supporting all facets of the Lawson
Material Management System. Currently implemented the Employee Self
Service and Employee Manager Self Service functionality to allow for Open
Enrollment into our Benefit Plans, allow the viewing of direct deposit
statement to individuals, and to allow for the viewing of Absent Management
accruals. and a number of other features. Interfaced with MHC Document
Express for payroll statements to be vied by employees and also having them
transmitted to their person email accounts, including current and prior W-
2's. Also worked with KRONOS Workforce Central in interfacing the time
records and producing reports to monitor the daily time clock punches. Use
of BSI Tax Factory for calculating taxes. In addition preparing for the
LSF9.0 security upgrade. Also implemented the bar-coding our id cards and
scanning the information to be transferred to the Lawson training modules,
for attendance in mandatory and all other classes. Supporting and
assisting the Users of the current Documentum Imaging system for scanning
and importing documents. Upgrading to version 9.1 to include Lawson
Financials.

City of New York that included accounting and budget functions. Created
standards for transferring knowledge of vendor software to city staff and

systems, to include system and user testing and change control procedures.
Supported the implementation of the Disaster Recovery plan for the
organization. Developed and implemented a strategic plan for the

program. Managed the evaluation and implemented an Imaging System for both
workflow and document management using both OCR and ICR processes in a
client server environment. Complete responsibility for mainframe legacy
systems, RS6000, and both LAN and WAN networks using both NT and Novell,
with over 500 nodes. Implemented a Frame Relay network nation wide for
remote sites. Implemented Laser printing throughout the organization for
all printing including checks with MICR encoding. Responsible for
implementing Y2K project for all systems. Evaluated an Oracle client
server system to replace our legacy
financial systems. Created and implemented a strategy and infrastructure
for the E-Business Internet solution for the organization for both new
applications and web enabled legacy systems for health providers and
members. Full web site responsibility including fire wall, hardware and
content. Managed the evaluation of a new Health Claims Processing system
to replace the existing mainframe system. Implemented EDI processing for
health claims using two clearinghouses using NSF format, with automatic
transmission to the existing Claims System. Completed the assessment
phase, that identified the changes required for HIPAA compliance for
transactions and privacy, with a project team to begin the remediation and
implementation phases for compliance. Implemented and supported Insurance
systems including Whole,, Universal, Term Life, and Annuity systems. Full

Was hired as a Consultant at Bronx Municipal Hospital on a short term
assignment to assist with the implementation of a new ULTICARE "turnkey"
System from Health Data Sciences. Created Change Control Procedures for
both software and hardware, off site storage, and security (both physical
and software). Created a 24 hour Help Desk with notification and
escalation procedures. The procedure documents met stringent requirements
of both the Health and Hospitals Corporation and the City Controller's
Office.
