development, compensation, benefits, policy administration
and employee/supervisory issue resolution. Authored employee
handbook, many company policies and Human Resource strategic
plan. Facilitated opinion survey feedback sessions, Round
Table meetings and many employee HR training programs.
Completed EEOC desk and field audit, wrote company responses
pertaining to various discrimination charges & OSHA complaint
responses. Strategically guided branch office management
through introduction of new automation tool to reduce costs

Human Resource responsibility for manufacturing facility
numbering 225 hourly employees. Successfully negotiated union
contract for hourly employees and eventually decertified
union after 28 years of representation by The Steelworkers
Union. Established production employee cross training
program, attendance program and facilitated various training
programs such as Teambuilding, Creating a Respectful
Workplace, and Zenger Miller Leadership 2000. Designed hourly
employee compensation program and administered employee
benefits. Selected by President & CEO to lead negotiations
with Electrical Workers for Metering Facility in Lafayette
Indiana. Settled several grievances over 6 months.
Company Safety and Environmental program responsibility for
over 6,000 employees in the United States and Canada. Provide
written programs for compliance with OSHA/Provincial
regulations. Authored company Safety Resource Manual.
Established employee/supervisory training programs and video
library. Administration of all Workers' Compensation claims
including final settlement authority. Reduced workers'
compensation costs by $744,000 in two years. Co-authored
Company Vehicle Policy and member of Fleet Accident Review
Committee. Participated on ISO 14001 certification committee,
which resulted in environmental certification in December
1998.

employees including employment, health and safety, training
and development, policy interpretation and
employee/management counseling. Recruitment, interviewing and
selection for all hourly manufacturing and professional
positions including accounting, sales and marketing,
information services and engineering (electrical, mechanical,
manufacturing, industrial and automation design).
Designed and implemented skilled trades training
apprenticeship program. Developed a time-targeting approach
to hiring while greatly reducing search firm fees and
completed drug investigation leading to termination of 18
employees. Responded to OSHA complaints. Provided company
response to discrimination charges. Managed professional
staff of six people including an HR Representative, two
recruiters, two industrial nurses and one administrative
staff..
