Express Scripts is going through a merger, and has a target of implementing a synchronized IT system by

12/31/2013. As part of this effort, the systems in the East and West are being evaluated. Different business processes

are being checked to identify what system enhancement need to be done to accommodate different business

processes from West and East Systems. All the consolidated clients for both companies have been segregated into

tiers, and gaps are being identified for each tier, and the system is being created.

Accreditation. Alere’s Disease Management program measure results should confirm to all standards set by the

future Product and Benefit needs. FJA’s Product Machine is the solution that best appears to meet WellPoint’s

requirements. As a next step, WellPoint is conducting a Proof of Concept (POC) with the vendor FJA to gain

deeper insight into the vendor’s ability to meet WellPoint’s specific Product and Benefit needs, including the ability

to integrate with WGS and other WellPoint systems and enable the definition and maintenance of Products across

the multiple market segments and Line of Businesses (LOBs). The Proof of Concept will determine whether or not

FJA is the right tool to utilize as a strategic enterprise product and benefit tool
