W ith reference to the above I would like to put forth my application for the position of an

A pprentice Welder in your organization

Age: May 30, 1993 – ( 20 years)

Welding Courses of Arc/gas/TIG/M IG & 6G completed at KGTT I – Ka rnataka

German Technical T raining I nstitute ( A Govt of Karnataka / German Govt.

U ndertaking ) :

A rc – 180+hrs ( all positions)/ TIG -60 hrs/ pipe & 6G -20hrs/Aluminum alloys -20hrs/gas

cutting & sizing / metal press/ Metal Grinding/operate basic hand & power tools operations

Knowledge obtained: butt welding/seam/Flits/spot/gas cutting/Polish sheet metal, Operate

manual or semi-automatic f lame-cutting equipment. Can operate manual or semi-

automatic welding equipment, power tools & basic hand tool operations. Attention to detail,

H and-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods.

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English / working knowledge of 3 Indian

l anguages ( Kanada/ Tamil/ H indi)

Work Experience:

H ave Worked / helped part t ime in the neighboring welding shop for 6 months – 6hrs X 5

days per week doing garden gates/ fences/ windows/ house repairs / machine stands/ school

f urniture/ & other odd jobs.

- Mainly arc & spot welding /sheet metal -using square pipe, round pipe, rod & f lats

+ metal design fixing as per the client requirement

- Have some exposure to metal bending, gas cutting, pipe/rod t ruing, minor fabrication

& reading of designs.

- In course of the job have also gone as helper on site to complete installations.

Formal Compulsory education completed :

2012 - F inished 12th (Pre University doing Physics / Chemist ry/ Biology / Mathematics )

2012- 2013 - H ave also done 1st year BSc.at Bangalore University in Chemistry/ Zoology /

E nvironmental Science. (Discontinued)- planning to finish Degree after working for a few

years.
