The phase 2 of the project is for implementing direct and indirect

sourcing processes. The functionalities implemented includes Bidding

701 leveraging existing BI 7.0 for the US operations. This is to replace

the paper and email based bidding process for US operations.

Allison Transmission is the world's largest manufacturer of fully-

automatic transmissions for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles,

medium- and heavy-tactical U.S. military vehicles and hybrid-propulsion

systems for transit buses. Allison transmissions are used in a variety of

applications, including on-highway trucks (distribution, refuse,

construction and fire and emergency), buses (primarily school and

transit), motorhomes, off-highway vehicles and equipment (primarily energy

and mining) and military vehicles (wheeled and tracked). The phase 1 of

the project is for implementing indirect requisition process with SRM 7.0

EhP1, SRM-MDM Catalog 7.01, upgrading ECC 6.0 to EhP5 leveraging existing

BI 7.0 for the US operations. This is to replace the current paper based

long form requisitions for indirect procurement.

Responsibilities
