migrated 1:1. Other two databases Customer and Address are migrated to a
Relational Data Model. Database design for Anlagen, GV, Telephone and GVA
databases are done on the basis that one IMS database segment will
correspond to a DB2 table.
Primary keys to the tables are identified based on the segment key
definition in the DBDs. Dependent segments are mapped with foreign key
relationship to the immediate parent segment DB2 table mappings. Foreign
keys are defined as 'ON DELETE CASCADE' to facilitate deletion of dependent
table row when the corresponding parent table row is deleted. Unique
Indexes to be created for the Primary Key for all the tables. DBDs are
scanned for fields other than the Primary Key used for retrieval. Indexes
to be created for some of these fields based on their usage in SSAs

. Responsible for COBOL Coding programs & review of the converted
programs.

programs, reviewing and testing.

. Documentation, Preparing test data, Test cases (UTC) and Test results
(UTR)
