W riting Operating procedures for 2 offshore wellhead platform and its central processing
facilities. Procedures included; Commission and Startup Plans, initial startup procedures & the
Operating manuals for all the facilities.
Production/Operations Manager Salamander Energy Thailand LTD May 2007 – July 2012
Engaged by company (GFI) as resident employee to set-up complete operating and support
operations for a new oil field development.
This included the development for all HSE and operating procedures and hiring of personnel,
as well as setting up warehousing, logistics and oversee Platform and FPSO construction.
After obtaining EIA and all required permits and approvals, field was successfully brought on
line in August-08 and operated with 100% national staffing.
Field uptime is around 99.8% and produced > 10 MM bbls oil, with zero accidents or
environmental incidents.

Provided conceptual design for 2 W HP platform with integrated central processing facilities.
W rote BOD, coordinated FEED with selected contractor and commenced fabrication of new
facilities.
Handed over Operations to company staff (Salamander)
Field Production Superintendent Pearl Oil Thailand LTD July 2005- May 2007
Offshore Person In charge for the commissioning and Start-up of the new Jasmine Oil field
located in the gulf of Thailand. Pearl produces heavy Oil from two W ellhead platforms by
means of Electrical submersible pumps which is processed on a FPSO.

Represents Thaipo Limited to ensure that the Operator of the B8/32 block, ChevronTexaco
Limited, effectively plans and manages the activities of the jointly owned Offshore Production,
Terminal and Marine Operations. Over seas that activities are conducted as per the agreed
Joint Operating Agreement.
Commissioning Manager Chevron Offshore Thailand May 2002- Feb 2003
Responsible for the commissioning and Start-Up for the 6 additional installed wellhead
platforms and the USD $82 MM expansion/upgrade of the central processing facilities.
The upgrade of the central facilities included replacement of the separation train, the
installation of a produced water system and a conversion from pneumatic to electronic control
systems.
Major accomplishments:
Developed commissioning system based on system approach.
Realization of production gains prior to Shutdown, by im plementation of a slug control
system from 25,000 bopd to 35,000 bopd and then from 35,000 bopd to 50,000 bopd
with the interim installation of the new water treatment system.
Reduced number of facility shutdown days from 35 to 23 via implementation of
construction smarts and “hybrid” shutdown system s, enabling hot cutover from
pneumatic to electronic control loops pre-shutdown.
The project was taken all the way from Conceptual Design to field implementation to
final hand over to Operations.
Sr. Operations Advisor Chevron Offshore Thailand. Jan 2001-May 2002
Advisor for all capital projects and operations support activities, for Chevron Offshore Thailand
business unit. Projects varied in complexity from wellhead platforms (10) to field development
scenarios.

Main responsibility to evaluate and approve of project designs from the 90 discipline
Engineers bases in Australia (Worley Parsons) and, discuss project progress and
manage USD $100MM capital budget with the client based in Thailand.
Production Manager Chevron Offshore Thailand. Oct 1999-
Jan 2001
Continued to manage the field activities in the function of Production Manager for Chevron to
facilitated take-over of activities by new operator (Chevron).
Responsible for a smooth integration of emergency contingency planning and
operating philosophies.

Production Manager Thaipo Limited. Oct 1998- Oct 1999
Managed the offshore “heavy crude” production facilities in the B8/32 field, which consisted of
12 producing platforms, central processing facilities, FSO & FPSO.
Responsible for the manning, commissioning & start-up of the Tantawan &
Benchamas fields.
Supervised the development of nationalization program, opened training institute and
developed annual training programs for all offshore skill groups.
Responsible for an OO budget of $70 MM and ~200 Offshore employees.
Sr. Production Foreman Conoco Inc. Gulf Region 1996 - Oct 1998
W as transferred to the Gulf of Mexico on Companies (Conoco) request to share lessons
learned from the North Sea locations and, to manage the implementation of a largely reduced
OPEX budget together with company personnel reductions for the Grand-Isle 4/43 Harvest-
field.
Managed all other offshore activities for the 26 assigned platforms.
Responsible for an OO budget of $48MM / Capex budget of $210 MM, 168 producing
wells and 240 Offshore employees.
First None-American citizen in this field.
Production Manager & Facilities Manager - Conoco Netherlands 1992 - 1996
Managed the offshore Assets in the Dutch sector including the Supervision of the engineering
and purchasing support.
W hen asset transit into the Harvest mode the final main responsibility was to reduce
OPEX and manage the outplacement program for company staff. Major
accomplishment was to successfully, safely and efficiently to continue to operate the
facilities with temporary contractor staff.
Received special award for managing the harvest program and eventually marketing
the assets.
Drilling Supervisor - Conoco UK 1991 - 1992
Drilling Supervisor on jack-up rigs in the UK -North Sea area.
As part of a personal development program, spent 1 year as a drilling Supervisor on jack-up
rigs in the UK sector of the North Sea. The last 6 months of the training period responsible for
all rig activities.

Managed the activities of the production platforms Kotter and Logger.

Introduced cross training to develop teams laterally. Enabled position moves, as
leaner and multi-skilled crews were employed.
First National employee to take over platform management (OIM position) from

Production Foreman over the Fatah field. Production of 600, 000 bopd and 700,000 blls of
