One of the biggest company for activated carbon. Responsible for the

production,international transport of activated carbon, technical

support to customers,maintenance,new equipment,and also sales in UK

and other countries in Europe.

1995 - 2011 Plant Manager/Site Leader

Forbo Adhesives, Switzerland

One of the biggest adhesive manufacturing companies in the world

producing water-based, acrylic, hot-melt adhesive casein, dextrin and

animal-glue .

Key Achievements

. Ran and oversaw all aspects of the Lamia plant in Greece with 20 staff

and E8-10m turnover.

. Assisted in introducing and handled the application of ISO 9001,

receiving certification with no points or comments coming from the

Certification Body (British SGS).

. Led risk assessment.

. Led the QC process introduction resulting in plant returns dropping

from 1.4% to 0.35%, the lowest in Europe (within the division) and

decreased customer complaints.

. Introduced and applied Lean Manufacturing and 5S Techniques.

water projects for cities.

Key Achievements:

Designed the key components of the waste water plants for cities that

granted the project to Rossetti as a result of public international

tenders. Sized the plant based on load requirements and planned the

supply of all equipment. Supervised assembly and installation.

Projects of (WWTP): Thessaloniki, Orestiada, Mandra Attikis, Serres,

Nafpactos. Managed sizing all plants and selecting all equipment.

1992 - 1994 Quality Control Manager

Key Achievements:

Set up a Quality Control system for raw materials (soya beans, wheat,

three foils, sun flower) arriving by truck and ship. A critical mission

as trade price for raw materials was directly related to quality

parameters. Introduced QC processes in 3 plants (animal feed, flour-mill

and edible oil refinery plant) with 200 personnel.

Projects: Set up QC system for 3 plants (animal feed, crush plant and

flour-mill), sampling cereals carried in bulk by ships, handled

maintenance procedures, assisting installation of a new bio-fuels plant.

1989 - 1992 Process Engineer Paterson &

Zochonis Ltd, Manchester/Nottingham, UK

Key Achievements:

In 1991 moved to the Melbourne plant in Australia, utilising knowledge to

replace the classical production of soap (pans) with new technology

(reactors).
