Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for installation of Electrical Equipments & Fire Alarm
Systems.
Fire Alarm (TYCO make fire water systems & Notifier (Honeywell make) CO2
& FM200 system) trouble shooting, Testing & Commissioning. Also involved
with QC for final inspection activities.
Involved in ECMS system, installation and commissioning activities &
after commissioning trouble shoot (Hub switches, F60, M60, C30 relays).
Involved in Installation of 3MVA & 2MVA Hyundai make transformers, Bus
duct, and transformer oil priming & BDV test.
Involved in installation of LV & MV Hyundai switch gears and MCC panels,
bus bar connection, tarking, as per technical specifications.
Cable laying (MV Cable Hypo test & LV cable mergering).
DC Systems (Batteries, Battery charger & UPS System) installation /
testing and initial charging and discharging activities for battery
banks.
Work and Co-ordination with different vendors in CCB (Central Control
Building), installation of different equipments like, PLC Scada panels,
control desk, PC & Printer installation, Large Screen, GPS Antenna, Wind
sensor etc,..
Lighting & Small power installation & testing activities in all areas.
Also involved in modification works in site.
To Conduct Technical Queries (TQ) as per site condition & Revision of
MTO (Material Take Off) Drawings as per TQ to engineering department for
corrective action.
Other Major Responsibilities
Working as an warranty Coordinator for Electrical department, involved in
trouble shooting and rectification of all major electrical & Fire Alarm
system (ECMS, VSD, LV, MV, MCC, Transformers UPS/DC Systems).
To take corrective action as need during renovation projects and/or
consulted with construction project manager to resolve issues arising
during projects.
Over view subcontractor's daily activities and coordinating with
engineering department to resolve major issues.
Updating daily activities and submitting the progress activities reports
on weekly and monthly basis.
Preparing monthly progress presentation to update field activities to
higher management.
To coordinate with material department and QC on status of materials
received at site.
To prepare as-built drawing if the IFC drawing does not match with site
conditions and forwarding it to engineering department for final
verification.
Co-ordination with field foreman & Technicians to solve the problems
related to drawings and other disciplines.
Preparing Monthly MIS report on manpower utilized, material purchased,
and work-in progress.
