OBJECTIVES AND EXPERIEANCE:
A position in Industrial Field Service/Installation Project Management-
Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial controls, PLC's. Willing to travel

ACHEIVMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive experience in domestic and international industrial furnace
installation projects. This included trades supervision, PLC and HMI
start-up, program debugging, VFD and SCR set-up. I also have an
extensive background in electrical distribution and switch gear, valve
control, pump maintenance, customer training, and gas burner system
balancing.
Acted as Project Engineer in major fab start-ups at AT&T, IBM, LG,
Hyundai, Samsung, and Chartered Semiconductor.
Served as technical advisor and instructor of formal training for
engineers and technicians at customer sites.

EXPERIENCE
AlphaTek of Texas, Houston, TX (Temporary Position)
Project Manager (January 2013-May 2013) Rebuilt and commissioned
industrial vacuum furnaces used in heat treating industry. Job duties
included evaluating existing control systems, updating controls as
required, and writing new PLC programs as required.
Akebono Brake, Clarkesville, TN
Heat Treat Technician (February 2012-January 2013) Performed start-up
and commissioning of heat treat furnaces used in the Nitro-carburizing
process for automobile brake drums. Modified and programed Allen-
Bradley brand PLC's. Setup and programed Powerflex VFD's and Control
Concepts SCR controllers.. Rebuilt and updated existing furnace
systems using Automation Direct brand products (Primarily DL205 and
DL206 PLC's), Powerflex VFD's, and Control Concepts SCR controllers.
SSAB Steel, Axis, AL
Maintenance Operator (October 2010-December 2011) Troubleshoot and
repair industrial furnaces and equipment related to the heat treat
process for steel products. Performed setup and balancing of
industrial gas burners utilizing Krom Schroder burner controls.
SECO/Warwick Corporation, Meadville, PA
Field Service Engineer (March 2008-Feburary 2009) Performed
installation and start-up of the SECO/Warwick brand industrial
furnaces. Extensive programming and troubleshooting of various PLC's
and HMI's. Controllers and HMI's used included: Allen Bradley,
Honeywell, AutomationDirect, InTouch/Wonderware, and ProFace.
Performed setup and balancing of Eclipse brand industrial gas burners.
Performed setup and programming of Spang brand SCR control modules for
electrical furnaces. Performed electrical and mechanical work
required to complete system installations and start-up.

Customer Engineer (November 2005-March 2008) Service contract
position at Qimonda Richmond 300mm fab. Maintain and repair vacuum
etch tools and support systems. This included all process controls, gas
distribution systems, and vacuum pump maintenance.

Equipment Maintenance Specialist (April 2002-Mar 2005) Maintained and
repaired all equipment and tools related to the wafer etch process.
This included all process controls, gas distribution systems, and vacuum

Maintained and repaired all equipment and tools related to the wafer
etch process. This included all process controls, gas distribution
systems, and vacuum pump maintenance. Customer sites included: Lucent

South Portland, Maine, and Infineon Technologies, Corbeil Essonnes,

Responsible for all aspects of service and installation projects in
the Austin-San Antonio, Texas area. Managed up to twenty U.S., Korean,
and Japanese engineers and technicians during Samsung- Austin wafer
fab start-up. Other customers included: Motorola, LSI Logic, and AMD.

Field Service Engineer (May 1995-May 1997)
Performed installation and service on Semitool diffusion furnaces as
part of the Semitool Thermal Products Division. Major projects
included LG Semiconductor, Korea, Harris-Intersil, Melbourne, FL, IBM,
Corbeil Essonnes, France, and Plessey Semiconductor, Plymouth,
England.
BTU/Bruce Technologies, North Billerica, MA.
Field Service Engineer (April 1987-May 1995)
Performed installation and service on all models of BTU high-heat and
Bruce diffusion furnace product lines throughout the U.S., Europe,
and Asia. Performed product upgrades and controller retro-fits on
various brands of diffusion furnaces. Produced lesson plans and training
materials for operation, maintenance, and process on all models of
BTU/Bruce products.

Quality Inspection Department (June 1982-April 1987) Insured that
procedures and specifications are followed during the installation of
electrical and electronic systems associated with submarine reactor
controls.
MILITARY SERVICE:

1982)
Serviced and maintained electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
associated with underway replenishment. Monitored. repaired, and
maintained all petroleum pumps, valves, and valve control systems
associated with directing and transferring fuel during underway
replenishment.
