- Created recycling program for facilities in two regions with the Flowers Foods system resulting in over 200,000 pounds of materials recycled annually and over 40% of total waste recycled.

- Partnered with the Georgia Clean Air Campaign to reduce fleet emissions reduction by developing a No Idle Policy which included timed idle sensors. This No Idle Policy has been circulated through the Flowers Foods system with facilities adopting this policy.

- Created and spearheaded Earth Day Competition between two regions within the Flowers Foods system for employees to donate recycled materials resulting in over $3,000 pounds of recycled materials.

- Within one year reduced company incident/accident rate from 10% to 2.5% yielding an annual medical cost reduction of $140,000 to $8,000.

- Worked closely with the City of Atlanta Bureau of Watershed Protection to ensure wastewater compliance and eliminated $5000 monthly surcharges for Flowers Foods.
