Work Experience:
July2013-September2013: The Finishing Shoppe
I was the relief finisher and prep sander. I was required to do kitchen detaches and help the installers at
job sites. We worked almost exclusively with wood furniture. Sanding, staining, shading, painting and
lacquer were the primary tasks I performed.
January2013-May2013: Voodooo Tattoo
I was working as the shop manager of this beautifully located tattoo shop. Mainly I provided helpful and
friendly customer service and knowledge to new clients and interested parties. I was also in charge of
keeping materials and equipment stocked for the artists as well as maintaining a clean work environment.
August2012-January2013: Lisi Aerospace
My duties involved applying an aluminum pigmented coating on the product within specific dimensions. I
developed my own technique to perfect the coating process which proved to be highly effective in
achieving well over production averages. I also maintained my spray booth and work environment daily. I
mixed and prepared paint and serviced guns regularly.
March2012-July2012: Deco Polymer.
I was a part of a team that had various contracts in the city involving restoration of concrete patios and
entrances. My tasks included managing the equipment during texture shoots, coloring the product in
various ways with different application techniques and applying finishing details with colored sealers. I
was in charge of the final processes.
November2011-March2012: Metcanco.
I was the paint booth manager of a metal restoration company. Our contracts were with the largest waste
management companies in North-America. My duties included but were not limited to; Grinding and
preparing surfaces for painting, mixing chemicals and maintaining equipment, spraying various materials
on prepped surfaces, guiding fellow workers on the lifts, stenciling and final stages of finishing process.
March2011-August 2011: Artemano.
I was the head finisher in charge of the final steps of the restoration process. My duties here included:
Sanding and fixing large wood tables and furniture, applying stain, sealer and lacquer, quality control. I
also performed many small tasks including Turning on the compressor and air tanks to lifting heavy
furniture and sweeping.
October2010- March2011: 711 Smoke Shop.
I was in charge of guarding the merchandise while providing a comfortable costumer experience. Duties
included: Opening and closing of store, clearing parking area of snow, delivering great costumer service
to loyal recurring and new costumers.
June 2009- October 2010: Quality 1 Bathtub Restoration.
I performed the tasks of a professional bathtub re-finisher which included; preparing surfaces for painting,
prepping surrounding area for painting, and finally painting the surface with paint spraying equipment.
Other daily tasks were to arrive at customers private residences on time and to present myself in a
professional manor while in a client’s household, and communicate with clients in French and English.
Jan 2009-May 2009: Prince of Wales Public School.
I completed my four month program placement within a grade 8 classroom as well as a kindergarten
classroom. I acted as the assistant Child and Youth Worker within the school. My role included
consistently monitoring children’s behaviour and creating behaviour modification plans for specific
individuals who needed more attention in order to thrive within the education system.
June 2008-September 2008: Kitchen Stuff Plus
I was involved in the receiving of merchandise to the Etibicoke location. I maintained the inventory on
the floor of the store and within the warehouse. During the company’s inventory, my duties involved; re-
pairing dry-wall, counting of merchandise, and painting in store.
