- Project Manager, team leader and a developer of the International Royalty Licensing Reporting and Forecasting ASP.NET/SQL
Server 2005 web application. (1.5 year project with multiple releases)
Designed and developed the database schema: tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes.
Spent considerable effort tuning the database and stored procedures for optimal performance.
Co-designed and developed a ASP.NET (vb) solution that not only met all requirements, it exceeded all expectations while
allowing the application to instantaneously adapt to fast-changing business needs by providing extensive user
maintainable configuration features.
Transformed a complex manual global licensing model for 40+licensees and 28 currencies into an efficient,
understandable website portal that allows for locally provided forecasts, reporting of actual results (SSRS), invoice
creation and addresses all contract reporting requirements.
Other client activities include:
Dunkin’ Donuts, Nortel Networks, Compaq, Osram Sylvania, HP, KeyPort Insurance, Gillette and more
Dunkin’ Donuts:
Developed numerous applications in support of Marketing and Franchisee management operations. Examples include:
Documented and analyzed the business processes of the prototype Digital Menu Board program and identified critical
technical and process limitations.
Developed SQL Server 2008 stored procedures and ASP.NET (vb) pages in support of Baskin-Robbins Purchase Order system.
Developed an ASP.NET/Oracle (vb) application to manage the enrollment of Franchisees in the Digital Menu Board program.
Confidential Client:
Developed extensive SQL Server 2008 suite of stored procedures and ASP.NET (vb) pages in support of a high volume
application (thousands of transactions per hour) which tracks political campaign contributions for national level candidates for
the 2012 election.
Nortel:
Developed enhancements to web application supporting Nortel’s customer service entitlement. Developed EDI 850/855
transaction processes supporting logistic part requests. Technologies included JSP, Java, Java Beans, Clarify 12.0 business
objects, First Choice APIs, Oracle 9i and Perl scripts.
Compaq:
Developed a Classic ASP web application to track the Compaq’s implementation process for SAP R/3. The application allows
users to see how data is sourced from legacy applications and fed to SAP, what the data is intended to represent from a local
business perspective and where the data is used in SAP.
Built a VB based tool that calls SAP remote function calls (RFCs) using SAP OLE. The RFCs directly pass data from SAP to the
calling application. In addition to being a stand-alone application, this logic is implemented into several tools which
used/analyzed SAP data/processes.
Osram Sylvania:
In support of a SAP Data Warehouse implementation, developed over 100 Cognos Impromptu reports and re-designed Cognos
PowerPlay cube processes .
Co-developed a tool to automate a re-pricing process. The client has thousands of different products marketed through
several channels, a complicated pricing processes and produces camera ready copy for a series of complex price schedules
(lists). This tool provides an online analysis interface to help product managers understand current position, competitor
direction, and help determine a new price position. The application communicates with SAP R/3: receiving product and pricing
information and passing along the finalized pricing records to load into the SAP pricing module.
DIGITAL EQUIPMENT CORPORATION Sept 1987 to June 1996
Information Systems Analyst/Project Manager
- Team member/business analyst/project manager on numerous projects in support of corporate wide reference
product/pricing and BOM repositories. Consistently rated a top performer in annual reviews!
Projects included:
Analyzed/defined/tested processes to implement real-time and batch interfaces to/from SAP R/3 for 3 SAP implementations.
Interfaces include connecting to non-R/3 systems; manufacturing execution systems, reference databases, data warehouses,
bank lockboxes using client/server, messaging and file transfer technologies. Determined project cross-platform work

breakdown and resource requirements. Coordinated development activities.
Modeled, designed, coded and implemented a portable MS Access application which builds files to load R/3 with data from
multiple non-R/3 databases. The tool converts the data into R/3 values and builds R/3 input files. Modeled, designed, coded
and implemented MS Access tools that allow users to compare R/3 data to current warehouse data structures and/or act as
integration test platforms for export/import processes.
Co-developed the idea and provided the analytic support for a distributed end-user Rdb DECforms application to integrate new
product data collection processes from Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Customer Services and Marketing into a
seamless flow populating corporate reference product/pricing and BOM repositories replacing a decades old paper flow
system. Developed an extensive automated (DTM, SQL) system test suite.
