City Center, Las Vegas, NV; Total Value: $8 Billion Project; Overview:
Functioned as the Senior Electrical Mechanical Estimator for joint venture
between MGM Mirage and Dubai World. The mega-development construction
included a 61-story, 4,000-room centerpiece hotel/casino and 6 additional
buildings with ~2,300 additional hotel room, 900 private residences, and
500,000 sq. ft. of dining, entertainment, and retail shops.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
. Developed comprehensive electrical/mechanical and some GC estimate for
future World Trade Center hub that will act as a gateway for an
estimated 250,000 pedestrians on a daily basis, including sub-grade
pedestrian connections to link PATH system with the New York City
Transit subway system (MTA).
. Prepared massive electrical/mechanical estimate for largest U.S.
commercial development (18 million sq. ft. mega-development on 67
acres in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip); the City Center achieved 6
LEED Gold Certifications at the site. Worked on change orders and
reviewed other MEP change orders.
FLUOR CORPORATION - New York, NY - 2004-2009
