Alappuzha Dist./ Kerala State/ India, has been working as Full Time Staff Nurse in the Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit of our hospital from 16th July 2008 to 03rd March 2011. She has done shift
duties as assigned totaling to 48 hrs per week & has availed 47 days of paid leave annually
according to HR rules.
Her main job responsibilities include;
@ Assessment/ planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of care following
nursing protocols, administration of medications and IV fluids, preparing for investigations etc.
@ Identification of emergency and taking action according to the situations and notifying to the
concerned doctors. Also assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Our Emergency Department is 12 bedded with facility for resuscitation and monitoring and
manage all types of Trauma Cases. We have 40 bedded various specialty ICU's with equipments
like Ventilator, Multi Modular Monitor, Syringe Pump, Infusion Pump and Pulse Oxymeter, also
there is 7 bedded Neonatal ICU with equipments like Bubble C-PAP, photo-therapy and
warmers.
This is a 407 bedded Modern Multispecialty Hospital with 15 Specialty and 9 Super specialty
departments and is ISO 9001: 2008 Certified for the Quality Management System & has attached
College of Nursing, School of Nursing and there is a Coiirw of Allied Health Science &
Management Studies which conducts various courses.
Her character and conduct are good.
